ARC Review: TEMPTING LITTLE TEASE By Bestselling Author KENDALL RYAN@KendallRyan1 @Inkslingerpr

A hot new standalone romance from New York Times bestseller, Kendall Ryan.

She’s the tutor I hired to teach me Italian.

She’s way too young for me, but she’s also gorgeous, bright and filled with a curiosity about life that I find incredibly refreshing.

It’s fucking adorable.

I’m old enough to know better, but this pretty young thing tempts me beyond belief. And for the first time in my life, I can see myself falling.

Is this what it’s like to be pursued by an older man? The complete confidence, the lack of expectations, the sincerity?

My God, it’s exhilarating.

Quinn Kingsley is totally unexpected. I’m moving to Italy in three weeks to teach English, and while I never expected something so real to develop between us so quickly, our chemistry is undeniable.

There’s something so sexy about this back and forth he and I share. Flirting with this man is like playing with fire, and I’m bound to get burned.

Io sono attratto da te. I’m attracted to you, he tells me.

But is our attraction enough to get us through the complications of a massive age gap and an international love affair?

Only one way to find out…

I have been waiting impatiently for Quinn’s story, and it didn’t disappoint. It was wonderful to meet the real Quinn, as the older brother he has always been the steady one that puts his brothers first.
Let’s face it, who would be good enough to bring his lighter side to fore. Kendall Ryan is a genius, Alessandra was perfect so full of life, the perfect balance to Quinn. This a wonderful light romance brimming with love, and delightful to read. Still incredibly hot and definitely a sexy tempting little tease. So Grap a copy and enjoy a SEXY Little tease I loved it and It left my with a large smile on my face.

Seed takes place straight after Dirt finishes, and Seed must be read after Dirt as this is not a standalone
My god I can’t wait for Bloom after Seed finishing on that note. You can’t help but feel Laurel’s devastation, not only losing her son and mother and then her husband asks for a divorce.
This book mostly follows Laurel’s struggle, and trying to make a new life without Jack. I felt for Isaac struggling with flashbacks after coming home from Marines
I didn’t expect the twist in the series, and no I’m not saying. So you will have read it yourself. It’s so hard to do a Non- Spoiler review, but it will be worth it when you read yourself.

I have never read a Jennifer Rebecca book before, and it was much more than I expected. We meet Claire a detective who unfortunately works for her protective older brother who freaks out when Claire has to handle the kidnapping of a 6 year old boy.
Unfortunately he is right to be worried as the kidnapping brings to the fore all her nightmares. Enter Wes FBI Agent who has come to assist on the case. This is the first in a series and we learn a lot of what make Claire ticks, her strengths and her stubbornness.
The crime is solved completely in this book, but the larger story arc continues. This ends on a positive note. At times I was screaming at the kindle, it kept me on my toes all the way through.

Exclusive Excerpt:

A shrill ring wakes me from a restless sleep—I had the dream again. My phone bounces around on the unfamiliar night stand that I must have left it on last night.

“Goodnite,” I rasp, my voice heavy with sleep.

“Detective, this is dispatch,” the disembodied voice from my phone informs me. “We were told to notify you that the body of a male child has been recovered at the rocks near the bottom of the falls. Possible match for your missing person.”

“I’m on my way.”

That’s all I need to know, and I am throwing back the blankets that are tangled around my body—my naked body. I pull my jeans on—without panties—and then my boots. I quietly search for my bra, hopefully not waking . . . not waking . . . I look over at the bed where a man with warm brown hair and a stubbled jaw sleeps on the bed that I just vacated. Nope, not ringing any bells. At least he’s good looking. I shrug.

I should be embarrassed about letting some random pick me up at a bar the next town over. But I’m not. This case has been . . . rough . . . and I needed to blow off some steam. Will I call him again? Uhh, no. Will he call me? He’d have to find me first. Did he have a good time? You betcha.

I see my bra hanging from a lamp shade and grab it, tucking it into my back pocket. I pull my tank top and t-shirt on, having found both rumpled on the floor. I reach into the front pocket of my jeans and find —thank God—a hair tie and toss my long, inky hair on top of my head in a messy bun. I pull on my coat that had been dropped by the front door.

I palm my phone and pull my keys out of the same pocket the hair tie came out of. I step out into the New Jersey cold without ever looking back at . . . Mike? No, that’s not it. I shrug to myself, fuck it.

I beep the locks on my car and climb in. I unlock the glove box and feel the weight of my badge and sidearm in my hand as I pull them both out of their hiding spot, placing both on the dash. I fire up my nondescript Tahoe and head towards tragedy.

My name is Claire Goodnite and I’m the best damn detective in the state of New Jersey and you better believe I’m coming for you.

After Mac’s disastrous first marriage and the age difference he has avoided the chemistry between Stephanie and himself. Stephanie has had enough of Mac’s avoidance and decides refurbishing the 6 sex suites is her chance to show Mac, that she is who he needs. This is a story with delicious entertainment watching their battle of wills, and surprises they had in store for each other. I loved the names of the suites which I am not going to ruin. TWO WEDDING CRASHERS (Dating by Numbers Book 2)

NA Romantic Comedy
Release: March 11, 2018
Add to Goodreads:

I don’t know what love is anymore.

Well, that’s not entirely true, but I’m going to tell you a little secret: I’ve lost the spark.

You know the kind of spark I’m talking about?

Where butterflies take flight in your stomach from two hands innocently colliding. Or catching your breath when you first meet someone attractive. Yeah, that spark.

Except I haven’t felt that feeling in forever; there is nothing left inside of me.

Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem–but I’m a writer on a serious deadline, and my editor is breathing down my neck for a romantic, Nicholas Sparks type love story. No pressure, right?

That’s how I find myself flying across the country to crash a wedding in the name of research, dress and heels stuffed into my small suitcase.

It should be the easiest book research ever. Drinking some free champagne, basking in the love of two strangers, and tapping into my romantic side. That will be a breeze. I’m a pro. I can handle this.

Until I mistakenly end up in the wrong hotel room, naked as the day I was born, with the sexiest human I have ever met staring me down, wondering what I’m doing taking a shower in his bathroom. I don’t think calling it research will get me out of this pickle.

 WEDDING CRASHERS TWC_Topless_teaser[130964]

Wow Meghan Quinn’s books get better and better. Having three writers as friends were so funny, Romance, Historical, and a Children’s author they were great fun. To be honest though I have a brand new book boyfriend, Beck was so much more than I expected. Once he found Rylee he was hooked. He had no eyes for anyone else.
If you love a good romantic comedy, look no further. I think this one of my favourite comedies it made me laugh so much.
I have to say Beck was a wonderful leading man, but Rylee’s best friends were great entertainment. I have to say my favourite part in the book has to be the trip to Las Vegas and crashing all the weird weddings

I not going to repeat the blurb, all I will say is Meghan Quinn is definitely my got too when I want to read a Romantic Comedy, and look forward to the next book in The Dating By Numbers Series.

ARC Review: DARK GLITTER ( The Wild Hunt Motorcycle Club ) By C.M. STUNICH and TATE JAMES @CMSunich

DARK DG[134093]

Dark Glitter
C.M. Stunich & Tate James
Publication date: January 24th 2018
Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Thriller

Ciarah O’Rourke was born into torture.

A human spirit reincarnated in the body of an ancient fae goddess, she’s spent the last five years in iron shackles, her mind poisoned with magic for secrets she doesn’t know.

Waking up in a dirty alley with no memory of her escape, Ciarah finds herself in the hands of The Wild Hunt Motorcycle Club–a ruthless and violent group of bikers with faerie blood in their veins.

Arlo. Reece. Killian.

Three men drenched in death, sin, and old magic.

From their clubhouse in the middle of the Louisiana bayou, they’ll offer Ciarah the keys to unlock her memories and control the veil between worlds. But even her knights can’t erase the twisted scars that remind her they aren’t the only ones who hunt.

When The Wild Hunt rides, the souls of the dead join their parade.

All that’s missing now is their queen.

Goodreads / Amazon

I do love a good paranormal, and this is a great paranormal. This is an adult paranormal, so we have hot sexy hunks. Our heroine Ciarah is found in an alley badly beaten and with signs of torture. Also no memory of how she came to be where she is? Or who she is?
As this a first book in a series it takes time to learn all the players, and background. We meet The Wild Hunt Motorcycle MC who rescue Ciarah, and realise she is the new incarnation of The Veil Keeper. There plenty of action in out of bedroom, or I should say not necessarily in a bedroom. This is book one of a three book series. Book two is up for preorder and I can’t wait. I have read Tate James before and enjoyed her books. This is an epic partnership, and I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and if you enjoy an adult paranormal with plenty of sexy hunks as this is the of a reverse harem book.

Tate James was born and raised in the Land of the Long White Cloud (New Zealand) but now lives in Australia with her husband, baby and furbaby.

She is a lover of books, red wine, cats and coffee and is not a morning person. She is a bit too sarcastic and swears too much for polite society and definitely tells too many dirty jokes.

C.M. Stunich is a self-admitted bibliophile with a love for exotic teas and a whole host of characters who live full time inside the strange, swirling vortex of her thoughts. Some folks might call this crazy, but Caitlin Morgan doesn’t mind – especially considering she has to write biographies in the third person. Oh, and half the host of characters in her head are searing hot bad boys with dirty mouths and skillful hands (among other things). If being crazy means hanging out with them everyday, C.M. has decided to have herself committed.

She hates tapioca pudding, loves to binge on cheesy horror movies, and is a slave to many cats. When she’s not vacuuming fur off of her couch, C.M. can be found with her nose buried in a book or her eyes glued to a computer screen. She’s the author of over thirty novels – romance, new adult, fantasy, and young adult included. Please, come and join her inside her crazy. There’s a heck of a lot to do there.

Oh, and Caitlin loves to chat (incessantly), so feel free to e-mail her, send her a Facebook message, or put up smoke signals. She’s already looking forward to it.

ARC Review: MARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE ( The Knitting in The City Series Book 7 ) By PENNY REID @ReidRomance

Marriage of Inconvenience, an all new romantic comedy standalone in the USA Today bestselling, Knitting in the City Series by Penny Reid, is LIVE!

MOI copy.jpg

There are three things you need to know about Kat Tanner (aka Kathleen Tyson. . . and yes, she is *that* Kathleen Tyson): 1) She’s determined to make good decisions, 2) She must get married ASAP, and 3) She knows how to knit.

Being a billionaire heiress isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it sucks. Determined to live a quiet life, Kat Tanner changed her identity years ago and eschewed her family’s legacy. But now, Kat’s silver spoon past has finally caught up with her, and so have her youthful mistakes. To avoid imminent disaster, she must marry immediately; it is essential that the person she chooses have no romantic feelings for her whatsoever and be completely trustworthy.

Fortunately, she knows exactly who to ask. Dan O’Malley checks all the boxes: single, romantically indifferent to her, completely trustworthy. Sure, she might have a wee little crush on Dan the Security Man, but with clear rules, expectations, and a legally binding contract, Kat is certain she can make it through this debacle with her sanity—and heart—all in one piece.

Except, what happens when Dan O’Malley isn’t as indifferent—or as trustworthy—as she thought?

MARRIAGE OF INCONVENIENCE has been a highly anticipated read for many of us for a long time — ever since the Vegas Incident — and I am happy to report that it does not disappoint.

As we’ve come to expect from this series, things aren’t all that straightforward for these knitters & co. I don’t want to reveal too much, because so much of the fun is in the unexpected directions Reid goes in or, rather, how everything falls in to place along the way. Not to mention how everyone has a role to play, a piece to contribute, and that made it very Team Knitting vs Bad Guy and I loved that rounded feel to it all. Especially perfect for a final book.

And speaking of those characters.. my goodness. Reid has been teasing us for months about Dan’s potty mouth and those curses seriously f…king delivered. The hilarity, the verbal hijinks, the honest and charming horn-dog-ness of him He’s just the right amount of protective, he’s totally uncompromising when it comes to what he wants, and he’ll even play a little dirty to get it. But he’s also a straight-shooter and after the initial misunderstanding that kept them apart, he’s quick to make sure there are no repeats along the way. Though that doesn’t mean there aren’t some little miscommunications that cause a bit of angsty confusion, they end up being totally hilarious. And the scenes with his mum? Just hysterical. I seriously loved Dan so so much. Have I already said that? Dan had me charmed from the beginning to the end.

There’s a difference between being honest with someone, and trying to drive someone away in the name of honesty.”

Kat, on the other hand, was totally unexpected. She was so different from what we’ve thought her to be, with such a dreadful past, and her struggles were so real. At times, of course, frustrating but they were frustrating for her too. And it was always coming from a good, if uncertain or insecure, place. There was an added element to her interactions with Dan that I really enjoyed and yeah, that’s all you’re getting out of me, no spoiling it! But also, I loved the balance of these two — the heiress and the ex-con — and how beautifully they could take down their opponents with an un-choreographed verbal take down while sipping a cup of coffee.

And of course, we couldn’t have a Knitting in the City book without the other knitters. I fully expected to cry after coming to the final page of this book, especially after some of the earlier scenes that spoke of change, and I didn’t. Why? Because Reid doesn’t end on a sad note. She gives us our last glimpse of these ladies in exactly the way we ought to remember them.

ARC Review: WHITE KNIGHT By New York Times Bestselling Author C.D. REISS

White Knight an all-new romantic standalone from New York Times bestselling author CD Reiss!

Catherine’s long-lost love is found.

Catherine Barrington is a rich girl. Chris Cartwright is a poor boy.

He left her to make something of himself. A man she could be proud of. A man she could bring home to her parents. A man she could marry.

On the trading floor he became the man he knew he could be. Now, it’s time to return.

Rich girl.

Poor boy.

She didn’t care about his money, but he didn’t believe her. Soon after he left, all the money was gone.

Her life is hell.

Now he’s back, and he’s different. Pristine. Gorgeous. Rich.

Rich boy.

Poor girl.

Money was never the barrier, until now.

White Knight is a standalone in the same world as King of Code, with its own beginning, middle, and end. You don’t need to read anything else to read White Knight.

white knight AN KU_preview.jpg

White Knight is novella that features Catherine Barrington, Harper’s older sister from King of Code. We finally find out what makes Catherine tick, and we meet her teenage love Christopher.
We follow their ill-fated romance through flashbacks to when both 16 and separated,
As Catherine’s 29th birthday arrives and a birthday party is arranged and a visit from her teenage secret love. When we meet Catherine we see how everything looks from her point of view.
This is a sweet sexy story between two people that had never forgot each other, and Chris is determined to win Catherine heart. This is a quick interesting sweet romance.
This C.D. Reiss at her best you think you know how it’s going to end, but it is always something better. Even though this has characters from previous books this can be read as a standalone. If you have read King of Code it fills in some of the blanks from Catherine’s eyes. I can’t recommend this series of books enough.

I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review.

About the Author

CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.

Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.

She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.

If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.

ARC Review: TAP THAT By JENNIFER BLACKWOOD and R.C. BOLDT @RC_Boldt @jen_blackwood

The beer’s not the only thing getting tapped.

Tap That by Jennifer Blackwood and RC Boldt !

The beer’s not the only thing getting tapped.

I have a secret. It’ll get me fired if my boss ever finds out…which shouldn’t be a problem except for one thing: my coworker, Reid Morgan.

He’s cocky, aggravating, and that hot-as-sin mouth simultaneously makes me want to slap him and melt into the mattress.

Now that he’s discovered my secret, he’s doing everything in his power to take my job.

I have a problem: my pint-size spitfire of a coworker who’s primed to take my promotion.

She’s infuriating, sexy as hell, and I just can’t seem to keep my hands off her.

Now we’re both vying for the same position…and only one of us can come out on top.

Goodreads TBR:

Tap That, is a funny hot romance between Callie and Reid. When Callie starts work under temporary probation as manager of Tap That she doesn’t realise Reid the hot sexy barman expected to get the manager’s job when his old boss moved.
So when he gives her the stink eye and makes her life difficult. Callie fights back, as we know funny one-upmanship leads to sparks that get very hot indeed.
I thoroughly enjoyed this delightful romance, it had everything I enjoy snark, funny banter and hot sexy tension and plenty of entertainment all leading to a happy ending.

Their hot New Year’s Eve wasn’t supposed to have consequences…

Fiercely independent after a difficult childhood, Ilke Lunquist devotes herself to one thing: skiing. She’s on the cusp of gold when an unexpected pregnancy throws her future into chaos.

Nathaniel Hart takes on the daunting project of restoring Whiskey Jack Ski Resort to be close to his young son, but with one failed marriage behind him, he avoids serious relationships.

They might be virtual strangers with only a baby in common, but Nate is determined to be part of his child’s life. Ilke didn’t become a champion by backing down from a challenge, especially not one where her child’s happiness and her own heart are on the line. When tragedy strikes, heartbreak draws them closer together. Nate discovers he’s more than ready for a bigger family and maybe, just maybe, Ilke will find the home that has eluded her all her life.

Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / iBooks / Kobo / Google Play

When we first meet Ilke she has just arrived at The Whisky Jack resort lodge to meet with Nate to let him know she pregnant. Nate you can’t help to warm up to him, he is struggling after his divorce, but he is working on the resort so he is close to his son Aiden.
I think I would have appreciated the snow in the resort if I wasn’t snowed in and shivering with a bug while reading it. I read this straight through and enjoyed it thoroughly because it wasn’t just about the main couple it was community at Whisky Jacks becoming more like a family. I did warm up to Ilke the more I understood her background and how she coped to survive.
This is not a dark romance, even though it not all sweetness and light. Never the less, it’s an uplifting and positive romance some of the story centers around the main couple Ilke and Nate. While in the background there plenty more to keep  you enjoying the story and keep your interest for next book in the series.
I have never read Dani Collins before, but I will definitely read the next in the series and go back to number one. Even though this is a series each book is a complete story for the main couple and can be read as a standalone. The reason hopefully want to read the others because there is an interesting cast of characters that have plenty to say. This is kind of read that makes you want curl up in an armchair in front of roaring fire and enjoy.
