Truth time. I go to a Learning Squirrel High School. Don’t judge.
On second thought, judge away. Learning Squirrel is one step above attending class in a junkyard. But what do you expect? Everything’s made out of garbage these days. At least, I have my freelance work to keep Mom and me housed, clothed, and fed. How? I’m your regular high school science geek for hire, except my work manipulates space-time. The good news is that these gigs pay really well; the bad news is that the government likes to kill people like me. Whatever. I’m not worried; hiding from their detection systems is easy for me.
Then I screw up one of my illegal projects. Badly.
In fact, things go so sideways that my house slips…

Audiobook Tour: DRAGON GOD ( The First Dragon Rider Book 1 ) By AVA RICHARDSON, Narrated by Tiffany Williams

Author: Ava Richardson

Narrator: Tiffany Williams

Length: 8 hours 49 minutes

Series: The First Dragon Rider, Book 1

Publisher: Relay Publishing

Released: Jan. 2, 2018

Genre: Young Adult Fantasy

The new world is calling….

Niell Torvald is desperate to prove himself – his father’s kingdom depends on him. When a vicious attack on the way to the Draconis Order monastery nearly kills him, it becomes clear that grave trials await him on this path. Joreth, the wise monk who saves his life, advises caution upon entering the sacred halls. His mission is to learn arcane magic from the monks that will help to cement his father’s power, but Niell will need more than magical arts alone to navigate the challenges before him.

Among the monks’ students, Niell meets the lovely and mysterious Char, who senses evil deep within the ranks of the dragon order’s members. She takes him to a dragon she has raised, Paxala, and the three of them become fast friends. Niell soon grows in strength as he and his fellow students gain ancient knowledge, and his closeness to Char blossoms into something more.

When Niell’s brothers grow impatient and attack the monastery in a bid to seize power, he will have to decide where his loyalties lie: with his warlord father’s domain or the new friends he has made in the wider world.

Ava Richardson writes epic page-turning Young Adult Fantasy books. She creates lovable characters and drops them into intricate worlds that are barely contained within your eReader. Her current work is the ‘Return of the Darkening Series’, which features Seb, Thea and their shared dragon, Kalax.
She grew up on a steady diet of fantasy and science fiction books handed down from her two big brothers – and despite being dog-eared and missing pages, she loved escaping into the magical worlds that those authors created. Her favorites were the ones about dragons; where they’d swoop, dive and soar through the skies of these enchanted lands.

Narrator Bio

Tiffany Williams is an Audible approved narrator who has been narrating audiobooks since 2013. Tiffany graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s in Theatre with an emphasis on acting and directing, plus a minor in psychology – so watch out! She may just analyze YOU! Tiffany has been working professionally since 1993 as an actor; director; producer; costume, sound and prop designer; stage manager; technical assistant; box office assistant; board member; business manager, production manager and college professor for theatres such as the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas, Dallas Theater Center, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Undermain Theatre, Project X, Theatre Britain, Audacity Productions, and Collin Theatre Center; and has pursued additional studies at the Kennedy Center, Folger Theatre, the National Stage Combat Workshop and Fairfax Public Access. She also provided voice-overs for plays, phone messaging services, and training videos. Tiffany is the author of the children’s play, The Great Texas Treasure Hunt. She has directed numerous productions of The Vagina Monologues which raised monies for Hope’s Door, Victims Outreach and the Dallas County Sexual Assault Coalition. Since moving to Virginia to be with the man she has loved since our sophomore year in high school, she has been narrating audiobooks. Working with her husband and being home with the kids has been awesome! That is until the youngest refuses to nap.

The story centred on a young lad of 16, Neill who is the third son of a Warlord in the middle kingdom, because he is also a bastard he has been picked on by his older brothers all his life. His father loves him dearly, but he has always felt ashamed all his life.
When the Draconis order Monastery calls for the three Kingdoms young people to be sent for training. Neill Torvalds is sent by his father to find the Draconis magic secrets to help his father.
When he arrives, he finds he is not treated any better, but meets char who has looked after dragon from an egg. Paxala and Char become very good friends to Neill. This is the first book in a new magical series.
The narration was superb with all the different voices, it brought to life a magical world where miracles could still happen to those who believe.

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Ava Richardson. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

Q&A with Narrator Tiffany Williams

  • How did you wind up narrating audiobooks? Was it always your goal or was it something you stumbled into by chance?
    • A good friend who started narrating audiobooks (Vikas Adam) recommended I try it, too, as I was looking for work I could do from home. Since my husband is an audio engineer and I am an actress, it seemed like a good fit. So, I auditioned, got cast, and here we are, five years later, doing audiobook production full time with our business, Airbending Media Productions, LLC.
  • A lot of narrators seem to have a background in theatre. Is that something you think is essential to a successful narration career?
    • Performance training is essential for audiobook narration, especially fiction. Having experience in theatre, improvisation, storytelling, etc. helps make a better narrator. You know how to analyze the characters and come up with the right voice for them.
  • What do you do to maintain your enthusiasm for narrating?
    • Narrating in different genres helps keep it all fresh for me. I’ve had the pleasure to narrate in genres like fantasy, cozy mystery, sci-fi, romance, self-help, business, kids, memoirs, and more. It’s been great being introduced to new authors, and subjects (especially the business books) that have influenced my life.
  • What about this title compelled you to audition as narrator?
    • I was interested in narrating in the fantasy genre, so when the first trilogy, Return of the Darkening, was up for auditions, I jumped at the opportunity. I was fortunate enough to be cast, and was thrilled to be selected for The First Dragon Rider series, too.
  • How closely do you prefer to work with authors?
    • I love working with the authors. They can give extra insight to the characters which helps me bring more depth to them. I always pre-read before starting a book and ask follow-up questions, if necessary, to make sure I “get” the characters. Sometimes I need clarification on an accent or age, so being able to reach them, either directly or via the publisher, is wonderful.

Arc Review: SHUTDOWN PLAYER By JAMI DAVENPORT @jamidavenport

She wanted to give her body to him because he already had her heart.

Shutdown Player by Jami Davenport is AVAILABLE NOW!

After a brief marriage to an unfaithful, gold-digging wife, Jared Roderick is looking for the perfect good girl, and he thinks he’s found her. Sweet, quiet, prim Stephanie Clarke is exactly the woman he wants and nothing like his cheating ex. Now to convince a reluctant Steph they were meant to be together.

Steph has had enough of men controlling her life from her preacher father to her abusive boyfriend. She wants to regain the innocence she lost and ignore the ugliness of her recent past. She’s not the pure and sheltered virgin Jared is looking for and fends off his advances despite the sizzling chemistry between them.

Jared is as determined to win Steph over as he is to win hockey games; but when his fantasy becomes tarnished, does he have the strength to skate the distance?

I always love Jami’s sports romances and this was no different. This was the story of Jared and Stephanie and a pair of physic matchmakers.
This was at times sad, for both Jared and Steph with all the baggage from their previous relationships that stood in the way. This was an uplifting story dealing with real down to earth problems.
Matchmakers extraordinaire tried to make sure true love broke through all the garbage life threw at them. I always love Jami’s sports romances, they can be read standalone, or we often meet up with previous characters.

They are told from alternate pov’s which makes it easier to see whats really going on. I have say I like the piece about Agnes and Giles at the end. A Romance to get your teeth into.

USA Today Bestselling Author Jami Davenport writes sexy contemporary, sports, and new adult romances, including her two new indie endeavors: the Game On in Seattle series and the Men of Tyee series. Audiobook Tour: TAKE A CHANCE SERIES, Iris in Bloom Book two by NANCY WARREN, Narrated Teri Schnaubelt.

Author: Nancy Warren

Narrator: Teri Schnaubelt

Length: 4 hours 54 minutes

Publisher: Ambleside Publishing⎮2015

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Series: Take A Chance, Book 2

Release date: Mar. 26, 2015

Iris Chance is turning 33. She’s an independent woman, the owner of the Sunflower Coffee and Tea Company in Hidden Falls, Oregon. Hidden Falls boasts clean air, natural beauty, good neighbors. The only problem is that there are zero interesting single men and Iris wants a baby. She’d love the whole package – the love story, the sexy romance with a hero who will sweep her off her feet – but she doesn’t have time to wait for Mr. Right. He may lose his way and never show up. She decides to start a family with the help of a sperm bank, knowing she’ll have her large family to support and encourage her as a single mom. When the new High School English teacher, Geoff McLeod, walks into her cafe and into her life he seems perfect. There’s only one problem.

Geoff McLeod never imagined his wife would end their six-year marriage with a text message. Reeling from her betrayal, he moves to Hidden Falls to teach English and Creative Writing. He’s got zero interest in women or dating until he meets Iris Chance, the intriguing woman who bakes the best Morning Glory muffins he’s ever tasted. He can’t imagine starting his day without stopping in on his way to work for coffee and a muffin and to see the sexiest woman who ever donned an apron.

Iris is the oldest girl in a family of 11 kids. She’s always been the stand-in mother to her younger siblings. She’s got so used to looking out for other people and listening to their problems that she’s become the confidante and unofficial therapist of half the town. She can see that the new English teacher has some emotional baggage dragging along behind him. He looks like he can use a friend and Iris has never been able to turn away from someone in pain. She’s prepared to be his friend, but she would never get involved with someone who is still officially married.

But love has a funny way of messing up the best-laid plans.

This is book three in the take a chance Series, and is about Iris the eldest Chance daughter. Who owns the Sunflower coffee and tea Company. As the eldest daughter spends her time nurturing everyone else.
Coming up to her 33 birthday Iris decides to have a baby by artificial insemination. At the same time Geoff the new English teacher takes an interest in Iris. I love Geoff and Iris together they were a great couple. Unfortunately after being bitten with a man who went back to his wife. Iris didn’t feel secure enough until Geoff became divorced. For me it felt like visiting family after listening to three of these Chance family adventures. At first frustrated with Iris, but still enjoyed it and looking forward to number four

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Nancy Warren. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it.

  • Tell us about the process of turning your book into an audiobook.
    • Turning Kiss a Girl in the Rain and then the next four books in my Take a Chance series of small town romances was a blast. I plan to make an audiobook of every book in the series (it’s going to be 12).I think the only difficult part of the process was finding a narrator. I had so many auditions to listen to! I was a bit stressed as I wanted the same narrator for all the books, but when I heard Teri’s voice, I knew we were onto something. After that, it was a simple matter of sending Teri my book and leaving all the rest to her.
  • How closely did you work with your narrator before and during the recording process? Did you give them any pronunciation tips or special insight into the characters?
    • Teri’s a pro, so there’s not much work to do where she’s concerned. I still remember the time she emailed me though and told me how difficult one of my sentences was. It was something like, “He hacked off a hunk of ham and put it on the plate.” I still laugh when I think about accidentally giving Teri a tongue twister and now, when I write, I do try to avoid anything that would be too clunky to say. Teri and I go back and forth a few times, of course. There’s an editing process, but after five books together it’s pretty seamless.
  • Were there any real life inspirations behind your writing?
    • Well, primarily, we writers do make things up. Otherwise we’d all be journalists. But of course real life offers experiences that are too good not to use, or to twist and shape into something that works in a novel. Believe it or not, some of the funniest or strangest things that happen to me in real life, I can’t use in a book because no one would believe it. Truth really is stranger than fiction sometimes. However, I use bits and pieces of people and experiences and turn them into fiction. For instance, in Kiss a Girl in the Rain, the hero, Evan, is based on a young man I know. He’d recently taken up motorcycle riding and planned a cross-country trip, and I created a stressed out, overworked lawyer who suddenly decides to take off on a cross country motorcycle trip. The heroine in Blueprint for a Kiss is a lot like me. No matter how hard she tries, there’s always a button missing or a thread hanging or her top’s come untucked from her jeans. My hair, like hers, is curly and has a life of its own. It’s a bit like Mr Potato Head sometimes, putting a bit of this person’s personality, with the looks of the celebrity and maybe a quirky mannerism or dress style of a third. But somewhere along the way, these characters  become their own people. It’s magic.
  • How do you manage to avoid burn-out? What do you do to maintain your enthusiasm for writing?
    • Burn-out is a real problem, especially these days when writers are always pressured to write more books faster. I was reaching that point myself and last year I gave myself a gift. I took a year off and took a Master’s degree in Creative Writing. I wrote in a completely new genre, studied my craft and lived in a different country. Now that I’m back I’ve rediscovered the joy in writing. However, you don’t have to be that extreme! I find walking my dog, or reading a good book (that’s how writers start, after all) or seeing a good movie or play all maintain my love of story. Playing with words is just fun for me and I hope that never changes.
  • Are you an audiobook listener? What about the audiobook format appeals to you?
    • I do listen to audiobooks. I will listen to them when I’m commuting, or sometimes if I’ve been on the computer too long and my eyes are too tired to read, it’s lovely to listen to a professional narrator telling me a story. I’ve got books loaded in my phone so they’re always with me. Then those annoying snags in life, like my car isn’t ready when the mechanic said it would be, or I’m stuck in a line up or waiting room, become pleasurable times as I get lost in a story.
  • If you had the power to time travel, would you use it? If yes, when and where would you go?
    • Could I come back?? I love the notion of time travel. I was living in Bath in the UK last year and I felt as though, if I could go back in time, I could meet Jane Austen and invite her to tea. If I had to pick an era, Georgian England would be my choice, but I’d want to be able to travel back to modern plumbing, medicine and airplane travel.
  • How did you celebrate after finishing this novel?
    • The same way I celebrate after every novel. Chocolate, wine and a hot bath. I usually buy myself a small gift, too. It’s so important to celebrate, isn’t it? When we write a book we’re all alone, struggling with plot, characters, editing,  and all the business aspects of writing that it’s easy to forget what an accomplishment it is to finish a book. I think celebrating each success is a great way to reward that hard working muse and make sure she doesn’t leave for greener pastures!
  • Have any of your characters ever appeared in your dreams?
    • Well, this is a little personal but the truth is I always fall in love with my heroes. Every. Single. One. And when I’m mid book, I dream about them. It’s a bit sad, but true. I also sometimes very deliberately think about a plot problem as I’m drifting off to sleep and I’ll sometimes dream the answer, or I’ll wake up with it. That’s so cool when it happens. Of course, sometimes I just end up unable to sleep, so it’s a risk.
  • What bits of advice would you give to aspiring authors?
    • This is such a great time to be a writer because our industry is going through massive changes. If you prefer to go with an agent and a traditional publisher, that option is there, and with the advent of indie publishing, writers can take control of their books and careers, and that’s exciting too. Being able to write something, publish it with an online retailer and go straight to readers with our stories is revolutionary and many authors are finding huge success. However, my advice would be to take your time. Read how-to books, learn your craft, and make sure to hire a good editor. Make sure your book is the best it can be before sending it to agents or uploading to an online retailer. Then get busy on the next book. A lot of things in our industry have changed, but writing a good book hasn’t.
  • What’s next for you?
    • I am currently writing book seven in the Take a Chance series. I am so happy in the world of Hidden Falls, Oregon where this quirky Chance family lives. I’m going to keep writing until every one of the kids gets their story. I also have a secret project on the go, a new series that I’m super excited about. I’ll post more information as I have it. The best way to keep up with all of my projects is by joining my newsletter at

REVIEW: BLOOD TYPE By USA Today Bestselling Author K.A. LINDE @AuthorKALinde @Inkslingerpr

BLOOD TYPE image001 (1)[145992].png BC.png

A startling new vision of paranormal romance: When a human ventures into the world of vampires—a decadent milieu of blood-bonds and betrayal—she discovers that not all is what it seems.

For Reyna Carpenter, giving up her body isn’t a choice. It’s survival.

In a civilization laid waste by poverty and desperation, Reyna accepts a high-paying position with the wealthy and hungry vampire elite. Her new job is as the live-in blood escort for the intimidating, demanding, and devilishly handsome Beckham Anderson. He’s everything she expected from a vampire, except for one thing—he won’t feed off her.

Reyna soon discovers that behind Beckham’s brooding, wicked façade lies a unique and complex man. And that, in a dark and divided world, she is more valuable than she ever would have believed.

For with each passing night, Reyna can’t shake the sensation that it’s Beckham who’s afraid of her.

Note: Reyna and Beckham’s story continues in Blood Match.

This is book one of Beckham and Reyna story, set in a world where after the financial collapse people are starving. Vampires have come out of the closet, and now control most of the government. Reyna as a last resort applies to for Vistage a vampire controlled company. Reyna applies as a blood escort so she can afford to eat.
Reyna is paired with Becks as a permanent arrangement. Reyna life changes over night, clothes, credit card, money and food. All she has to do is stay out of danger. This is where Reyna drove me mad, always running off and getting into danger. How many times does Becks say, stay by my side it is dangerous in here.
I have to hand it to K.A. Linde I loved this book and cannot wait for the next one in the series. If you love a great paranormal then look no further.

That was the moment Beckham appeared in the doorway like a storm cloud.

Reyna straightened in her seat at the expression on his face. He walked across the room like a tightly coiled spring ready to explode.

“Ah Beckham, there you are,” Harrington said.

“Excuse me, William. I need to speak with Reyna. Alone.”

She hastened out of her seat and followed him around the corner. He tugged her straight through the kitchens, out the back door, down a corridor, and into a dead end. Then her back was slammed against the brick wall. His fist connected with the wall behind her, and she felt the wall shudder. Debris floated onto her shoulders.

“You left,” he growled.

“I . . .”

“No.” He pressed his finger to her lips roughly. She stopped breathing and just stared up into his eyes as dark as night. Her body trembled under the feral stare. “You left without me.”

The silence was weighted. All she could do was sit with their bodies nearly touching. His finger on her mouth. Her mind wandering to hellacious places.

“You are my subject. Can you imagine what it was like when I found you missing? When you turned up with three of my kind?” She shook her head minutely. He bared his teeth to her, and she shrank back. “These are meant to drink your blood. To drink you dry until there is nothing left of your body but a dry corpse. We are killers. We don’t hesitate. Just because we’re wearing suits and seem more like you . . . does not mean we are like you. We are not like you. They especially are not like you. The only way you get to the top of Visage is to be fucking ruthless, Reyna. Do you understand?”

“You’re . . . scaring me,” she whispered.

Reyna Carpenter and Beckham Anderson return in the exhilarating follow-up to the provocative paranormal romance Blood Type.

Do you like the forbidden?
Regretfully Yours by Sunniva Dee IS AVAILABLE NOW!

“It’s official—Sunniva Dee is the queen of unconventional, forbidden romance. Sunniva has twisted me all up, in the best possible ways, and I can’t wait for more.” – Amazon Top 100 Bestselling Author, Harloe Rae

“What a heart-wrenching tale Regretfully Yours turned out to be. I’m rubbing my chest even as I type this review. The author made me feel so many things. I smiled & frowned, giggled & glared, hoped & worried, melted & froze, and I loved & hated. My emotions are a hot mess and I wouldn’t have had it any other way.” – iScream Books

Our relationship was a sin, they said, but how can it be a sin to love so deeply?
She shouldn’t have listened to them.
Shouldn’t have left us behind.
You can’t help whom you love, and without Silvina, I didn’t give a damn.
A mafia prince without a cause is a rebel with nothing to lose.
My brother owned an adult entertainment studio.
He wanted me nowhere near it. Thankfully, his competition did.
I auditioned. Landed a contract.
It’s how I took my sins to a new level, my up-yours to la famiglia.
Until Silvina was kidnapped, and my world was thrown upside down.

Wow this book is much more than I thought it would be, it definitely not for the fainthearted. We have Silvana and Gioele from a mafia family who live are away from home and away from the madness of the family’s business.
The big issue that seemed to be they are first cousins, and their feelings for each other are more like lovers. Silvana is trying to live her as normal as possible at college. I not judging anything, but it has never been taboo in England so it is harder for me to understand. I don’t want to give anything away, but that becomes the last thing she has to be worried about.
This so much more going on in this book, and certainly written so well you can feel all fear that Silvana has to go through. In fact the whole book is written so well, you are pulled into the story straight away. Then pulled through the ringer of emotions and then thrown out at the end feeling bereft. Even though we have great ending.

About the Author:

I’m a lover of everything beautifully written no matter the genre.
As an author, I pen flawed characters. I seek the flip side where the soul hides, and once there, I want to be pulled out of my comfort zone by stories that take on a life of their own.
I’ve committed paranormal and young adult books. I’ve done contemporary romance verging on erotica, and I’ve dabbled in supernatural mystery. But my heart is anchored in new adult of the true kind: unapologetic young adult that’s all grown up, with conflicts and passions familiar to college-aged readers and people who remember those days like they happened last night.

Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me.

Maybe not the death of me…but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me.

It’s more than physical. He’s breaking through an impenetrable wall.

There’s a problem though—he’s younger than me.

Six. Years. Younger.

Let’s not forget he’s also one of my brother’s best friends.

Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention…

I never wanted to fall in love again.

But you know what they say….never say never.

This is the first book in this series that I’ve read, and it won’t be the last. This book gripped from start to finish

Waylynn has been deeply hurt by her lying, cheating ex-husband and she has vowed that she will not fall in love again. Jonathon is attracted to Waylynn and is determined to see where their relationship could lead them. One problem he has to get past the biggest stumbling block to his plan, Waylynn. She is attracted to him and although the chemistry is sizzling between them, she cannot get past the fact that he is 6 years younger than her and her brother Cord’s best friend.

Can Jonathon get through the wall that Waylynn has built around herself? Will Waylynn give Jonathon the chance to show her that by taking a leap of faith, she could finally have the life she has longed for so desperately? I loved this book and Waylynn’s interaction with members of her family. Her brothers made me laugh, and the sisters in laws. That’s why I have to go back and read their stories. I not saying anything else except I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my god Jonathon is made my kindle sizzle.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I didn’t hear a word that the interior designer was saying. I was focused on the way Jonathon looked in those Wranglers. And his boots. And the freaking black cowboy hat that made his grey eyes stand out. I swallowed hard.

Jesus…could this guy get any hotter?

Jonathon caught my stare from across the room. When he smiled my panties nearly disintegrated. The man had never even touched me, and yet one look from him and I was damn near panting.

Yes, he could get hotter. Christ Almighty.

Before I could stop myself, my tongue ran over my dry lips. Jonathon’s brows rose and his boyishly handsome smile turned into a sexy-as-hell grin. When his eyes smoldered, my breath hitched.

I wiped my brow. Shit, is it hot in here?

Jonathon knew where my dirty little mind had taken me, and I was pretty damn sure his was going in the same direction. I closed my eyes and tried not to picture anything sexy, but failed. Me…up against the wall with him buried deep inside me, giving me a long overdue orgasm.

“Waylynn? Waylynn?” Ann’s voice pulled me from my naughty thoughts.

Popping my eyes open, I cleared my throat. “What? Huh?”

With a sweet smile, Ann repeated the question I had totally tuned out.

“The color scheme. Are you good with it?”

I frowned. What in the heck was she talking about? Color scheme? “Umm.”

The young woman waited patiently, while I stood there with my mouth open like an idiot.

“Color scheme?” I asked with a slight smile.

Ann laughed. “Did you even hear a word I said?”

My eyes darted to Jonathon. He was leaning against a desk in the middle of the room. It was the only piece of furniture that had been left by the previous owners of this space. His arms were now crossed over his massive chest, and he wore a shit-eating grin. Did the man know how freaking handsome he was? That sex appeal dripped off of him?

He winked, and I had to lock my knees to keep from falling.

He knew exactly where my mind had gone, because his was there as well.

Turning back to the interior decorator, I replied, “I’m so sorry. Jonathon was distracting me.”

One quick glance back and Jonathon’s smile vanished, replaced by a shocked expression. “Me?” he asked.

I nodded. “Yes. You.”

Ann was now staring at Jonathon. I could see by the look in her eyes and the way she chewed her lip that she was having similar thoughts. It was obvious by the way she was trying not to look in his direction while she talked. She was probably the same age as he was, and that pissed me off. Then again, I had to remind myself that Jonathon hadn’t been staring at Ann. He’d been staring at me.

“What did I do?” Jonathon asked.

I wanted to say that his hotness was making my panties wet, and the throbbing between my legs was making it hard to think, but I decided it was best to avoid the truth.

“That desk you’re leaning on. I keep wondering why the previous owner left it?”

Jonathon looked down at the desk as Ann asked, “Do you want to keep the desk? It would be beautiful refinished.”

I shrugged. “I’m not sure.”

Jonathon walked around it. “I’m sure we could put this to good use. I can come up with an idea or two.”

His head lifted and his eyes caught mine. I swore they turned as dark as the night sky. I swallowed, trying to ignore the pulse between my legs.

This book blew me away, I didn’t read the blurb and in went blind. The story is told by different pov including the psychopath. This is definitely my cup of tea with the story taking place in FBI BAU, I love a murder mystery. This was so different from the standard who done it. We are on the inside of the group looking for a killer and then we are inside the psychopath’s mind. It kept the story flowing with the different POV’s
The characters in the BAU are a tight knit group so when Noah brings in a newbie Ella it takes time for her fit in. This book is fantastic, I don’t want give anything away. We have team looking for the psychopath who killing and leaving body parts in a wooded area. This book is not as dark as I thought it would be. It was wonderful feeling part of the team I was in there trying to figure who the Psychopath was  . I can’t recommend this enough, a book that kept on my toes all the way through. I am now going to look through the Author’s backlist.

From #1 NYT bestselling author Lauren Blakely comes a sexy new standalone romance!

I couldn’t have scripted a more perfect night.

For one fantastic evening, at a masquerade party in the heart of Manhattan, I’m not the millionaire everyone wants a piece of. Fine—multimillionaire. But who’s counting all those commas? Not me, and not the most intriguing woman I’ve ever met, who happens to like dancing, witty banter, and hot, passionate up-against-the-wall sex as much as I do.

There’s no need for names or business cards. And that’s why I’m eager to get to know her more, since my mystery woman seems to like me for me, rather than for my huge…bank account.

Everything’s coming up aces. Until the next day when things get a little complicated. (Newsflash — a lot complicated.)

He’s charming, brilliant, an incredible lover, and right now I want to stab fate in the eyeballs.

I’ve had one goal I’ve been working toward, and lo and behold, my mystery man is the very person who stands between me and my dream job. A job I desperately need since my hard-knock life has nothing in common with his star-kissed one.

But it’s time to put that fairytale night behind me, and focus on learning what makes him tick. Too bad it turns out his quirks are my quirks, and his love affair with New York matches mine.

And as we spend our days together, I discover something else that feels like a cruel twist of fate — I’m falling for this naughty prince charming, and that’s not an ending I can write to our story.

Once more Lauren Blakely has done it again, written a book that has the most wonderful man in it. I’m so in love with Flynn who is a thoroughly nice guy with such an awesome personality. Having been bitten in the past by a woman who wanted him for his bank balance. Flynn just finds it hard to trust women. As soon as he met Sabrina it was lust at first sight.
Our heroine Sabrina is feisty, intelligent who also has plenty of heart. I loved this book, it was entertaining, funny and Lauren at her best. I can’t wait to get the audiobook. They first meet at a masquerade party, both wearing costumes and masks. They just clicked and decided to meet again. Of course their journey to their happy ever after is paved with great entertainment. This one is a must buy
