Descendants of the Amazons, the Scythians work alongside prominent governments but answer to no one. Warriors living on the fringe of civilization, they live by one credo: Strength through Equality. Power through Knowledge.

Nya Thalestris is the brightest Scythian of her generation. Strong, capable, ruthless, she is sure to earn a spot in the Trials, a time-honored mating ritual responsible for the evolution of her species.

Abducted by their sworn enemy, the Drahzda, Nya is forever altered and spirals out of control. The Society sends in Jax Nickius. Infamous psychologist and one of the most brutal warriors of their kind, he discovers triggers planted in Nya’s mind. As Nya solidifies her spot in the Trials, Jax develops a plan to help her heal—while pursuing her as a mate. But, Nya’s attraction to Jax is at war with her instinct to never let anyone get too close.

During the Trials, Nya’s repressed memories surface, revealing a new enemy—one from inside the consulate walls—and a traitorous alliance on the horizon that could irrevocably change the course of history.

Since before the Bronze Age, the Society has managed to safeguard humanity from itself … until now.

REVIEW:

What a great book, I am lucky to have the pleasure of reading Authors new to me and discovering a new take mixed in ancient legends of the Amazonians. In a modern-day reference, with a preface at the front of the book with a list of the Scythians language for everyday items.
We follow Nya and her friends as they prepare to fight to become eligible to go to Carpathia to choose their mates who they then fight to find their equal.
Nya is dreading this, but for every female warrior this is what they look forward to. When she survives the trails and then she is then matched with 5 male warriors she is absolutely gobsmacked when one of them is  Jax her Tutor and Guide for the previous four years as she has struggled to overcome an unknown trauma from her past..
I loved this book, and I thought Jax was perfect for Nya before I go into all the hunky males in this hoping to find their mates. As a female warrior Nya is descended from the first couple to start a whole new society, so much is expected from her. This is an action-packed adventure with lots of drama going when the enemy is after Nya again. If you love fantasy with a great adventure this the book for you. I can’t wait to read some more of Elizabeth Isaacs’s books if they are as good as this one. A great original fantasy action filled adventure with a side dose of love. What more can I ask for ?

Cici Gurule wants to pretend her dream is nothing more than a meaningless nightmare. But the bruised and bloodied woman looked alarmingly like her. Cici and Detective Sam Chastain struggle to follow the garbled evidence, but the killer scores his victim first. Worse, a message pinned to the victim’s blouse states, “You’re next.”

REVIEW:

I have to say I think this book is better the last one, and I thought that was fantastic. We catch up with Cici after she have some disturbing dreams, that seem so real. When she hears her twin’s voice and realizes she is trying to tell something. If you have read the last book you will what happens when Cici starts having visions that begin to come true.
Sam is there supporting Cici as usual as this Harley riding reverend does things her way. This for me was just up my street following the clues with Sam as he has a head start because of Cici’s visions. A great new character sleuth that I for one is quite happy to follow the adventures of Reverend Cici Gurule with hopefully Sam by her side. I so pleased to find a series that has blown me away, this was just perfect.

Missed A PILGRIMAGE TO DEATH and want to catch up?

About A PILGRIMAGE TO DEATH (A Reverend Cici Gurule Mystery Book 1)

When Cici discovers a body in the forest, she’s shocked to realize the victim’s wounds are identical to the ones that killed her sister a year ago. Now she’s embroiled in the takedown of a massive criminal operation, and the stakes couldn’t be higher…

“A wholly absorbing gumshoe tale elevated by an extraordinary detective” (Kirkus Reviews starred review).

Someone murdered her sister. And shot her dog. The killer won’t stop until she’s dead, too.

Cici finds a dead body while hiking in the Santa Fe National Forest. The situation deteriorates when she discovers the victim bears similar stab wounds to those that ended her twin sister’s life a year ago.

Then, her identical twin sister infiltrates her dreams.

All of a sudden, Cici and her dogs must dodge arrows, bullets, and even a demon truck—all while she grapples with the knowledge that her sister was on the trail of a deep-rooted criminal operation. Worse, her twin’s death was much more sinister than a random act of violence.

Now, as she follows the clues her sister drops in her dreams, the criminals want Cici out of the way. Permanently.

A Pilgrimage to Death is a high-octane thriller. Fans of Ruth Ware, J.D. Robb, and Angela Marsons will love Alexa’s Padgett’s new edge-of-your-seat novel.

REVIEW

What a great start to a new series, in book one we follow Emilia a princess of the Summer Court. Emilia’s life is unbearable after her twin gets killed after the King of the Winter Court encourages the darkness inside him, and Cade kills him to save his younger brother Rowan’s life. Emilia thought the entertainment at the Winter court was bad, but that his nothing compared to the way her parents start to behave after her twin’s death. Emilia has wanted no part in the blood sports that her father thought was entertainment.
To escape the Court, she begins to see one of the Hunters Oberon and they plan to escape somewhere peaceful and away from the war and bloodshed. Only this is just the beginning  after witnessing things that she couldn’t imagine. Emilia will never trust anyone ever again. This book has everything you would expect from a book about the Dark Fae, it kept me on gripped from beginning until the end and now I can’t wait for book two. Emilia is a strong woman even though among her own she is considered weak. It very hard to do this book justice without spoilers, but I am addicted and an on edge until I read the next book. This book is only suitable for 18+

About Sloane Murphy

My name is Sloane, but people call me a variety of names, particularly after they read my books. If you’ve read them, I’m sure you can use your imagination to work them out. I was born in England and have lived in small towns and cities ever since.

My husband, Chris, is the most supportive person in my life. Without his love, help and patience I wouldn’t be where I am today. Living my dreams, with him by my side and our crazy fur baby creating chaos.

At school I drifted through, achieving average grades. I fell into administration and sales jobs, thinking that I couldn’t really do anything else, despite always wanting more.

I’d been writing poetry and song lyrics since the age of about 11, but my love of reading has always been strong. In 2012, I got my first kindle and discovered the works of Samantha Young, Addison Moore, Amanda Hocking, Tijan, A.E Murphy and many many more.

In 2015 I stumbled into the indie world by accident. I emailed a certain indie author after falling head over heels for her books, and she became one of the best friends I will ever have. She’s a gladiator! But she pulled me in, and took me to my first book signing. She encouraged me to start my blog. She encouraged me to put my art out into the world, first with teasers & covers.

Then when I finally told her about my stories, she encouraged me to put them out there. Between her and the one I love the most – thank you, Lauren Rowe – (my twinnie, and my best friend) I found the confidence to put myself out there, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Truth Kills in the first book in a new Series
About a 50 something divorced mother and grandmother who is a Private Investigator. We are introduced to Angie when she gets involved in a case where she is trying to find evidence in a murder case. It felt great to follow the mindset of a more mature kickass heroine. We also have a peep into the goings on in the 3rd generation Sicilian community.
We follow Angie’s day to day investigation, and dealing with her over protective Papa. This is a great intro to Angie’s live and attitude to her life, work with romance thrown in. We see how her ability to read people and situation which you only learn from life.
A great start to a new series, as Angie gets more than she bargained for when to discover the truth Angie has to work with a hard nosed cop Ted Wukowski. This gripping book makes this addictive listening as the conclusion to this case brings new opportunities for Angie.

Even Fictional Characters Need a Home

Have you heard the old joke about the husband who comes home late one night, opens the bedroom closet and finds a half-dressed man hiding there? “What are you doing in my closet?” the husband asks. “Everybody’s gotta be somewhere,” the man answers.

It’s a groaner, but its silliness holds a kernel of truth. Everybody does have to be somewhere, even fictional characters. I find it hard to relate to a character, unless I can place him or her in a setting. Consider Miss Marple ambling along the village streets of St. Mary Mead, Dr. Zhivago riding across the frozen Russian landscape, or Jane Eyre scuttling through the dark and dreary rooms of Thornfield Hall. Would they be as alive, as compelling, if their environments were not compellingly described? Not to me. So when I decided to set the first Angelina Bonaparte mystery, Truth Kills, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin (I qualify this with the state because a taxi driver in the deep South once wondered if that was in Hawaii!), I found it natural to include local landmarks in the story.

Every private investigator relies on sources for information. Angie schedules a meeting with a possible insider informant at Blu, the cocktail lounge at the top of a landmark downtown hotel. She tells the reader: “The Pfister is an old Milwaukee gem, an 1890s Victorian built of local stone and graced with bright red awnings on the sidewalk level.  Inside, a permanent art display decorates the walls of the five-star hotel. The builder, Guido Pfister, was a German immigrant who envisioned a ‘palace for the people.’ Guido died before the building was completed, but his son Charles finished the father’s dream. Even today, guests claim they can see the portly, well-dressed Charles patrolling the halls.”

And what’s a good PI mystery without a homicide cop insisting that there’s no place in a murder investigation for an amateur – especially a female. When Angie and Detective Wukowski get into an argument while sharing a cup of coffee at Ma Fischer’s the owner, George, pockets their bill and asks them to leave. “As I walked out, embarrassed by the attention and longing to get to the car, I heard George pull Wukowski aside.  ‘Women, they can be very irritating, no? But it does no good to lose your temper. You are the man, you must be in control of yourself. No?’ I smiled all the way to the car.

When there are murders, there are bodies that require last rites. Angie gets ready for Elisa Morano’s funeral in Truth Kills: “The service was slated for eleven at the Church of the Gesu.  Known locally simply as Gesu, the 1890s French Gothic stone structure sits in the midst of the Marquette University campus on Wisconsin Avenue. Parking is fierce there, so I slid the Miata into a paid lot and walked five blocks to the church.  The day was fine, and during the short stroll, I tried to reassure myself that it would be years before people would be walking to my funeral. Of course, Elisa’s age denied the security of that belief.”

The people in my mystery series inhabit a place and time that I take great care to make real in the stories because, without that, the narrative seems flat and the characters without substance. P.D. James, whose iconic Adam Dalgliesh series sets a very high standard, wrote this in Talking About Detective Fiction: “Place, after all, is where the characters play out their tragicomedies, and it is only if the action is firmly rooted in a physical reality that we can enter fully into their world.” Welcome to the world of Angelina Bonaparte!

EXCERPT:

“I feel like I’m always pissing you off,” Delilah said, as they made their way to the end of the row of conveyor belts. “I just hate not knowing what you’re thinking.”

He reached around her to hold the door open, and then they started down a long hallway. “I’m thinking that I don’t have time to drive you around town.”

“You just said—”

He stopped, bracing his hands against the wall, caging her in. “I’m thinking about Freefest, and how important it is that I get my head on right, that I focus and visualize and do all the things I need to do so I don’t die on that mountain.”

God, that look. So intense. Electrifying. “I don’t want to be a burden. I can get around by myself.”

But he didn’t look at her like he was pissed or annoyed. No, with his nostrils flaring like that, he looked like he wanted to use both hands to rip her dress wide open and drop his face in her cleavage. And she wasn’t entirely sure she’d stop him.

Her pulse fluttered out of control, and desire streamed through her.

He lowered his mouth to her ear, his voice deep and husky. “But it doesn’t seem to matter what I’m thinking, because it doesn’t stop my heart from feeling funny when I watch you talking about produce with a dude wearing toe shoes. It doesn’t keep me from realizing that I’ve known a lot of women in my life but none of them—until you—has ever surprised me. It doesn’t seem to matter that I’m really good—and I mean expert level—at blocking out distractions and staying focused because, somehow, you’ve tangled up my wiring. I’m supposed to be thinking about my thrust or my amplitude or page thirty-six in How to Raise Your Orphan Sister, but I can’t concentrate because you keep getting under my skin, and there’s not a damn thing I can do about it.”

His chest was right there—close, but not touching. His mouth, a whisper away, and her body yearned for him to close the last inch of distance between them.

“I can’t stop from breaking into a run every afternoon, so I can get home to you,” Will said. “I hold my breath because I want to open the door and find you in the kitchen and when you’re not there I hate it. I could easily hire some high school or college kid to drive you around this summer. Maybe get you a scooter—anything so that I don’t have to do it, but I will be damned if I let someone else be the one to take you places. That’s for me. That’s my gift.”

Every cell in her body opened up and started singing and clapping to a gospel tune. But she was in a hallway, and the farm owner was waiting for her. “Well, that must be very inconvenient for a man like you.”

He smiled, and it was like a bright yellow dandelion pushing up through a crack in the cement. It floored her. “You have no idea.”

“If it helps, you’re not my type.”

He stepped close enough that his body brushed hers, and she could smell the sun in his cotton T-shirt and the fresh mountain air scent of him that drove her wild. “No?”

“Not at all. You’re too disciplined. Too…tidy.”

“Would it help if I…” He brought both hands to his head and messed up his hair.

She laughed because it was short enough that it couldn’t really get messed up. “A little.”

How about if I got some ink. Like maybe a sunburst right here.” He brought her hand to his chest, just slightly off-center.

“And ruin that perfect skin?” She shook her head. “Besides, it wouldn’t matter what you did. I like a man who can surprise me. Not someone so regimented that I can predict—”

His strong arm wrapped around her back, and he hauled her to him, pressing his warm, soft mouth on top of hers. And then he kissed her.

It was so good, so unexpected, that she practically soared right out of her body. Her pulse quickened, and she had to squeeze her hands into fists to keep from scraping them through his hair.

I could fall so hard for this man.

He parted his lips, and the way he licked across her bottom one had her drawing in a sharp breath as pleasure bloomed across her skin. He took advantage of her surprise by sweeping his tongue into her mouth, tilting his head, and kissing her like the clock was ticking, and he’d never get this chance again.

Sensation flooded her, making her nerves hum and her knees go weak.

Diesel, an all-new Savage Brothers MC Romance by USA Today Bestselling Author Jordan Marie is coming NOW LIVE!

I’ve only truly loved two things in my life.

My club and my son.

I gave up one, trying to keep the other safe.

It worked, too… until an enemy took my son.

But he made one mistake— He left me breathing.

There’s nothing I won’t do to save my child.

A woman is the last thing I need, especially a woman like Rory McDaniels.

She’s stubborn, beautiful and drives me crazy.

I’ve told her it’s too dangerous to be involved with me. She vows to stay, no matter the cost.

She has no idea how high that price might be.

REVIEW:

My god you must read this book, it will keep on your toes. In this book Diesel has left his MC Club and gone to his house in Whitefish, Montana to keep his son Ryan safe from his mother who keeps trying to kidnap him.
Living next door is Rory, and she is hiding there from her brother and her Ex. Then inevitable happens and the chemistry between is just so hot, but Diesel finds it hard to trust any women.
Some of the time I just wanted to punch Noah (Diesel’s real name) for the way he would treat Rory. They both have trust issues, but I really liked Rory and couldn’t help feeling for her. I am now all worked up with nowhere to go as this finished on a cliffhanger. I don’t know how I’m going last until Rory comes out in December.

ARC Review: DEAR JANE by New York Times & USA Today Bestselling Author KENDALL RYAN @KendallRyan1 @InkslingerPR

DearJane-Amazon (1)[5279]

BLURB:

I broke her heart ten years ago and left town.

She hates me, and rightly so. It doesn’t matter that the rest of the country loves me, that I’m a starting quarterback with a multimillion-dollar contract. Because when I look in the mirror, all I see is a failure who was too young—and too afraid—to fight for what I wanted.

But I’m not that guy anymore, and all I need is one shot to convince her.

***
He has no idea what happened after he left. And now I’m supposed to work alongside him like we don’t have this huge, messy history?

But I’m older now, wiser, and I won’t let anything stand in my way of doing a good job for this league. Not even one overpaid, arrogant player who thinks we’re going to kiss and make up.

News flash, buddy: I am over you.

REVIEW:

Dear Jane is a second chance romance between Western Chase and Jane Royce. Jane is now an assistant Manager for the Hawks Chicago’s favourite football team. When she gets the news that Wes Chase is being transferred in.
Its been ten years since they have seen each other. They were high school sweethearts, but when Wes went to play college football they spilt up, and now Jane hates him with a passion.
When they meet Wes can’t understand the animosity towards him, as it was Jane who dumped him. I always enjoy these stories when you meet up with your first love or the one you never got over. Wes is a darling finding himself back home and seeing the girl who he never really got over.
This is a sweet and sexy romance and I loved every second of this book, and I had a big smile on my face at the end. This is a nice easy read with a big hunky footballer with a heart of gold.

Midnight Flight by Isobelle Cate

Series: The Cynn Cruors Bloodline Book 8

      Date Published: October 16th 2018

About MIDNIGHT FLIGHT

Mistrust.
It was all Adara did.
Fear.
It was all she ever knew.

Adara Kerslake has kept her identity a secret from the Cynn Cruors for as long as she can remember. When Cynn Cruor warrior, Luke Griffiths, comes hurtling into her life, she flounders. Afraid of dealing with the Cynn Cruors and the man who captured her heart, she leaves, burning bridges in the process. Until a loved one forces her to rebuild those links that brings her back into the world she fought so hard to escape from.
And to the warrior whose passion haunts her every sleeping and waking moment.
Luke goes into a spiral after Adara leaves and it is only by the strength and love of his Cynn Cruor brethren and their women that keeps him from tripping into insanity. To forget her, he prepares to leave for the Ancients’ Faesten in Anglesey on a mission that can lead to his death and the banishment of the Manchester Cynn Cruors if he isn’t careful. When Adara returns, the last thing Luke wants is to get involved again. But he can’t stay away. What’s more, someone in the Ancients’ Faesten in Anglesey knows who she is and is out to get her.
Two missions merge to one. A desire to know the truth becomes entangled with the desire that never waned between Adara and Luke.
Until a spectre from Adara’s past threatens them both…and brings in a new enemy for the Cynn Cruors.
*Although characters from other books in the series have cameo roles, this novel can be read as a standalone.

MIDNIGHT'S FIGHT TEASER

REVIEW:

It has been a while since there has been a new Cynn Cruor novel and I was lucky enough to be able to get a chance to read a new book from one of my go to series before it was released. This is the eighth book in this fascinating paranormal series.
For those of you who haven’t read the series you will need to start with Rapture at Midnight or you will be very confused. This be read as a standalone, but to get the full benefit it is best for the books to be read in order.
The Cynn Cruors are an immortal race created originally with werewolf and vampire genetics. They were created to live quietly among humans and to keep them safe. In most large cities around the world they have a presence there to keep humanity save.
This is story of Luke Griffiths and Adara Kerslake, and what a story. This is an action packed with plenty of drama and shocks for the ancients as well as the rest of the Cynn Cruors. Luke and Adara are mates even if the two of them have many misunderstandings, but when the chips are down they are there for each other. This is a fantastic read with so much going on it will leave you shaking your head. At least Luke and Adara have a happy ending and are accepting each other wholeheartedly. If you love a good paranormal series, why not start with Rapture at Midnight which happens to FREE at the moment.

ARC Review: AFTEREFFECTS ( A Ripple Effects Novel ) by L.J. GREENE is Now LIVE! @authorljgreene @XpressoTours

Aftereffects
L.J. Greene
Publication date: October 8th 2018
Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

What could be more terrifying than falling in love with the person who is your good place? Maybe realizing just a smidge too late that there can be dire consequences to becoming your best friend’s lover.

The lives of Keir Stevens and Selene Georgiou serendipitously collide mid-span on San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge, one jarring step ahead of fate. He’s a temporary transplant from Seattle; she’s facing the biggest career opportunity of her life. They have no notion of the common thread that connects them.

As they come to discover they share a similar adversity, their relationship evolves from a fun and frivolous infatuation with nowhere to go into a true friendship with sincerity, humor, and respect at its heart.

It’s awfully hard not to fall in love with that – even if you’re pretty darn certain you shouldn’t.

But when love and friendship suffer their own devastating collision – their interests brutally conflicting – the consequences of blurring the lines between the two suddenly become real. In the end, which one will be the stronger? And more importantly, can either survive?

AFTER EFFECTS is a standalone dual POV adult contemporary romance about the things we choose in life out of all the things that are beyond our choosing – a tale of love and friendship, of time and how we spend it, and of the inner wars that ultimately show us what really matters.

Goodreads / Amazon / Barnes & Noble / iBooks / Kobo

♥♥♥REVIEW:♥♥♥

This is book three in the Ripple Effect Series, and this time we have Selene’s story. If you have read the first two books in the series you would have already met Selene. If you haven’t this can be read as a standalone. Can you imagine meeting the love of your life by running your car into the rear of his truck? Well that’s what happens when Selene is putting on her mascara and accidently drives into the back of his food truck. Selene is lucky enough to meet Keir who sounded moody but is a real sweetheart, I fell for Keir very early on. When they meet both are going through heartache.

This about a couple who struggle when their lives take them to different places. This a beautiful romance and it felt so realistic , but very emotional. This is told in dual narration so we really understand how both Selene and Keir really feel. I really enjoyed this book and I couldn’t help cheering Selene and Keir on their happily ever after. This is a beautiful and moving story and I for one am happy to have discovered another author to read.

EXCERPT

Hi,” he says, doing a double-take when he realizes it’s me. He looks fabulous, of course, because why wouldn’t he when I look so scrubby? He’s wearing jeans and a T-shirt and a hoodie, and his face doesn’t look like he’s tired, or like he stayed up late to drink too much and tear up the dance floor.

Or like he spent last night making out with somebody more than a decade older than him.

“It’s crazy seeing you here,” I say. I giggle again at the sheer ridiculousness of this. “Do you come here often?” What am I doing? What am I saying? It’s like I just learned how to talk to people of the opposite sex. How have I ever gotten a date?

Not that I’m trying to date Nick.

“Occasionally. You?” He sticks his hands in his pockets and he’s so relaxed, so sexy, and I just can’t stand all that swagger on such a handsome guy that I am not allowed to touch. It’s unfair for anyone to look so effortlessly edible before nine a.m.

“It’s my favorite shop. Come here all the time.” I take a couple steps backwards, trying to shift toward my car. “I probably should—”

“Don’t you think it’s probably more than a coincidence?” He takes a step towards me, and I take one back, willing myself not to respond to the rumble of his deep voice and the magnetism of his body. “That we’d see each other again so soon. Kind of like fate, almost.”

Oh my god, Oh my god, he’s flirting with me. What do I do? He’s so hot, I can’t even look at him. But then I do, and I have total church-giggles over this, and I have to escape before I make an even bigger fool out of myself. Someone is bound to notice that I am losing my cool, and they’ll draw conclusions that aren’t even true.

It was just kissing!

“It’s really weird, I have to admit.” I dance back some more, then glance behind me to make sure I’m not going to back into the street and get run over and make this even worse. “And really awkward.” I brush some hair back that’s come loose from the messy bun at the base of my neck.

He shrugs, seeming to disagree. And it’s true that I’m the only one who seems to be awkward right now. “I don’t know about that. Doesn’t have to be awkward. Could just be convenient. Since I never got your phone number.”

If I didn’t think he was flirting before, I know he definitely is now. I don’t want to say no to him, but I have to say no to him. He cannot have my number. Can’t have anything more than a memory of a scorching-hot make-out in the back of a club. What we did was not for a sunlit day. It was for a dark corner. And yet, I still can’t seem to actually say the word no. So instead I say, “Why do you need my phone number?”

Oh my god, this is mortifying. It really is like I’m in high school again and I’ve forgotten not only how to talk to boys but how to stand in their presence.

He takes another step toward me, laughing. “Well, for one thing, I thought it might be nice if we had dinner sometime.”

He has the most ridiculous smile, I realize. It lights up his entire face. You can see it in his eyes, and there’s no pretension. It’s all genuine. Pure sunshine. I’m rendered speechless by it for half a second and I have to ask, “What was that?”

“Dinner,” he says, that huge-ass grin in full force, taking another step toward me, and now there’s only three feet between us, and I can feel the body heat from him, can remember what it felt like the last time he walked me backwards into a wall and then his body was pressing into me, and his mouth was on me. When his chest was against me, when his cock was pressing into me and my hips—

I suddenly jump backwards. “I don’t think that would be a good idea.” I look around suddenly to see if anyone’s noticed this exchange yet.

It’s fine, it’s still fine.

We’re just two people who work in the same industry who bumped into each other on a Saturday morning and are chatting like people do on Saturday mornings when they bump into each other. While giggling. Totally fine.

“What are you worried about, Natalia?” He doesn’t chase after me, just stands there looking confident and laid-back. Like a man trying to tempt a scared animal out from hiding. “I mean—I do bite, but most women like it.”

I smile at that, because I can’t help it, but I duck so he doesn’t see.

He’s probably so much more experienced than me.

He’s probably so dirty in the bedroom.

God, I shouldn’t be thinking about that. “I shouldn’t even be talking to you,” I say, shaking my head. I turn toward my car.

“No, you shouldn’t be,” he calls from behind me, and I have to actually close my eyes to collect myself because it’s obvious he’s thinking about doing not-talking things. Things like last night. Things like biting.

Things good girls have no business being so turned on by.

I tell myself he probably says stuff like that to all the girls who walk away from him.

But who am I kidding? Who has ever walked away from Nick Ryder? Besides me, I mean. Twice now. I deserve an Oscar for my willpower. That should be a new category.

“Bye, Nick,” I call as I flee with my coffee.

Then I step into my car, put my keys in the ignition and drive away before I lose my senses and change my mind.

Close Teaser 1[5252]

REVIEW:

This is one hot sexy loving romance between Natalia Lowens and Nick Ryder,
After a bad break-up Natalia who is at the top of her career, but her personal life feels empty. Natalia and two girlfriends goes to a nightclub to cheer up. Natalia know that no paparazzi are allowed in and because everyone is famous you know there will be no pics showing up on social media to embarrass her.
So after all the stress Natalia goes on to the dance floor and loosing herself in the music. While relaxing into the music she finds herself in tune with a guy, so much that they keep on getting closer and dance like they have practiced for months with each other in secret.
That’s how Nat and Nick meet and they start seeing each other in secret. Natalia know that if it gets out about the affair it would be a scandal because she is 10 years older. Nat wants to settle and have children. Nick being 23 is at a different stage in his life.
Nick is a great guy, but he had to grow up quickly has fallen for Nat and he is in love and is determined to show Nat that she loves him and he wants the same things she does.
A really enjoyable romance I loved Nick but wanted to shake Nat. This is a Hot and Sexy but my god Nick is so loving and patient. Helping Natalia to work through her fears. This was a wonderful and romantic story, and lets just say I would take Nick home and keep him.
