REVIEW:

Parker and Gus Duke were each other’s first love and sexual partners, so as soon as Gus knows she is back as he realises Parker is the “ONE” they have been waiting for. That is Gus, Kemp and Poe his partners in the Veterinary Clinic.
When Parker comes home because her mother is poorly. So, while working Parker rescues a stray dog that needs treatment. When Parker arrives at the clinic and encounters Gus and the sexual zing is still between them.

Then she meets two more grade A beefcakes and can’t believe all three want her, and she can’t wait to get to grip with three tall, well build studs. Well if you read Vanessa, this is a quick read with plenty of the hot stuff. I loved Parker a strong woman that just needed lots of sex so three men comes in handy. Off course its instalove, and quick read to put the smile on your face.

REVIEW:

T-Bone is another hot, hot, sexy read, still cooling down here. My god I love this series, this is book two and is about Tucker and Colton lassoing Ava the girl of their dreams. Ava owns and runs the Seed and Feed store and enjoys watching Colton and Tucker when they come in the store to flirt.
Eventually they wear her down and its full steam ahead. This is a short and quick read but packs a full punch. Lots of action in and out of the bed. Colton and Tucker were so good to Ava she couldn’t help falling in love with them.
A really great addiction to the Grade A Beefcakes Series. I am definitely looking forward to Tri-Tip, as this series is leaving me with a big smile on my face.

He doesn’t care if both his brothers are both married, with families and happy as bugs in a rug. Or that most of his friends are getting hitched. Settling down might be for them but it’s definitely not in the cards for Lincoln Shaw. He enjoys his freedom and women way too much for that. Nope, give him a different woman–or three– every night and he’s just fine.

Then, why the heck does a pole dancer with violet eyes who calls him Thor have him thinking that settling down might not be so bad after all?

Exclusive Excerpt:

So, here’s where it all begins. Or ends.

Either way, life was never going to be the same again. If there was life after what happened next. There were two ways she could play this. The first: pretend to be weak and beg, or the second: the way her mama had raised her. Hands on her hips and ready to rumble.

Tallulah, or Lula as she was most often called, chose her mama’s way because she wasn’t about to beg this sorry sack of shit for anything. “I’ll tell you what.” Her hands went onto her hips. “If you don’t put that gun away your buddies are going to see you get your ass kicked by a girl.”

That probably wasn’t the smartest challenge. Men hate to be called down by a woman, particularly in front of their friends. But this one had crossed a line when he shoved that five-dollar bill into the band of her thong and then tried to pull the thong clean off her body.

As if he hadn’t seen darn near all there was to see of her. Not to mention there was a strict no-touch rule. That’s one of the reasons she took the job. She wasn’t a bit ashamed of what nature had blessed her with and didn’t give a hoot about men watching her do a silly pole dance, but she was a “touch when invited” kind of girl and she rarely invited anyone to touch.

She didn’t go into her personal policy with the offender but did point out the “no touching” rule clearly posted. He called her a whore and jerked her off the stage. That’s when she slugged him. The way his eyes rolled around she thought that might be the end of it.

Luck wasn’t with her, though. As soon as his head whipped back into normal position he pulled the gun.

Now they stared at one another like the gunslingers of old, sizing each other up and looking for weakness. Lula wasn’t at all sure he would back down. “I tell you what, cunt.” He looked around at the crowd that’d gathered and grinned before returning his attention to her. “You drop to your knees and suck my dick and maybe I won’t blow your fucking brains out.”

Just as the thought crossed her mind that she’d take a bullet rather than suck anything of his, a deep male voice from the edge of the crowd brought silence to the place.

“Or…” The people parted to make way. “…you hand over the gun and leave before I get angry.”

Lula was as surprised as her nemesis when a man emerged from the crowd. Well, hellooooo Thor.

Holy Asgardians, what a man. Well over six feet, with a mane of blond hair, eyes the color of frost and a body built for either fighting or sinning, maybe a whole lot of both. She’d opt for the latter if given a choice.

REVIEW:

Well what a book Ciana always know how to keep you emotionally connected to her stories and this one is no different. In this book we meet Lincoln who is Deacon and Wiley’s younger brother. I just loved how Lulu describes him and calls him Thor. I was hot and bothered the whole way through book, my imagination was running wild every time Lincoln appeared. Tall, Blonde full of muscles looks like an Asgardians. What’s not to like?

Tallulah Christmas Duval has come to Cotton Creek on a job, she doesn’t expect to feel at home for the first time in her life. What she can’t resist is Thor and I can’t blame her. The sparks when these two are together are more like hot flames. As usual I feel I just come home from visiting my favorite place. That’s how Ciana writes her books you feel invested in the people you have spent time with. Cotton Creek always feels like visiting with some of my friends and family.

I really enjoyed this book a great addition to the series and it was great meeting up some of my favorite people. I absolutely loved Lulu and Lincoln together, even though Lulu gave him a run for his money. Lincoln had to work to enchant Lulu even if he did look like Thor.If you want something extra from your romance, this is the series for you. Each book is a complete story, we just meet we friends and family from previous books.

I was a self-appointed bachelor and happy to have the title. Everyone thought it was time for me to settle down and find a nice girl. Well, no thank you. This cowboy wanted to stay clear of relationships. I wanted the freedom that came with no strings.

But what did I know? Nothing apparently.

Everything changed when I looked into her green eyes; my world tilted when she smiled at me.

What was this feeling?

Whatever was happening had me losing my damn mind. I fumbled with my words. My body wasn’t my own. I wanted her … desperately.

Was I ready to give up my bachelor days, or was this Irish girl simply an itch I needed scratched?

REVIEW:

Wow this time it was Cord’s turn to be Smurfed and meet the love of his life Maebh.
When a new Irish Restaurant comes to town, Maebh came with it. A dark haired green eyed siren has come to town and Cord is smitten. I really enjoyed this trip to Texas to visit with the Parker family.

I think this is one of my favourite visits watching Cord fall in love and trying to get to grips with it was very entertaining. I have to say the sex was hot and Cord was so swoony I’m still trying to cool down.
Great catching up with the rest of the family, and a side trip to Ireland. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed the visit and can’t wait for Trevor story in 2019.This is part of a series, it can be read own its on but for greater enjoyment its best read in order. This is a great series and told in alternate points of view, which is one of my favourite ways to read. I can thoroughly recommend this entertaining series.

About WOUND TIGHT:

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lorelei James comes a crossover story in her Rough Riders/Blacktop Cowboys® series…

A May-December romance hotter than the 4th of July…

Bull rider Justin Donohue spent his youth hell-bent on winning world championships. After hitting the big 4-0, Justin takes a job at the Grade A Ranch and Rodeo School, where he immediately locks horns (and lips) with the sexy, sassy Callie—a 22-year-old cowgirl set on seducing him. Discovering their age difference doesn’t deter Callie; neither does Justin’s warning that she deserves more than a busted-up former rodeo cowboy.

From the moment Callie Morgan encounters the hot-as-fire new ranch hand, she knows his gruff manner is an attempt to mask his attraction to her. But she’s never backed down from a challenge, especially not when Justin’s actions speak louder than his denials. Callie doesn’t give a damn that he’s older than her or what others might think of their relationship. The uptight cowboy needs to relax and she’ll do whatever it takes to loosen him up, proving there are no age restrictions when it comes to lust…or to falling in love.

REVIEW:

Wound Tight is one hot sexy romance, with Cowboy Hottie Justin and Callie a hardworking girl were perfect together. Justin is in a bad way disillusioned with life and women general he doesn’t know what to make of the sexy bartender. Callie may only be 22, but after looking after herself since she was 16 has made her very mature in her outlook.
When Callie first looks at Justin she is a goner, and lets him know her intentions. Justin may have been forty, but Callie was more mature. I loved this Novella it held all the ingredients for one beautiful romance when Justin and Callie least expected. I great read, it was pleasure to read. It may have been a Novella, but it packed a big punch.

EXCERPT:

“Have you seen the new ranch hand?” Callie gushed to her coworker Svetlana.

Svetlana—aka Lana—took a break from mopping and looked at Callie. “I cannot keep up with all of the new hires,” she said with a sniff.

“Oh, come on. How could you have missed him? I swear his hotness even made Mrs. Gradsky blush—and she’s been surrounded by good-lookin’ cowboys her whole life.”

“Did our boss lady catch you drooling over this man?”

“God no. I was literally hiding in the bushes outside the office as I picked up trash.” Callie sighed. “I had to stay still even when I wanted to break the damn branches to get a better look at that killer ass of his.”

“You were checking out his…?”

Her mind supplied “package” but virgin Lana would blush ten shades of crimson if Callie admitted that. Instead she said, “Behind? Of course. Such a hardship, watching that perfect cowboy butt sauntering away from me. But he did me a solid before he disappeared inside the office. He turned around and his frontside was just as delicious as his backside.” She whistled. “The man has it going on. Dark blond hair, vivid green eyes, great smile.” Amazing smile. Even from thirty feet away the man oozed charisma.

“You are what my mama used to call boy crazy,” Lana said.

“I’m not interested in boys. I’m interested in men.” Not that a man like him would take interest in her, especially not when she was covered in dust after a full day of doing grunt work.

“You are certain this new ranch hand is not married?” Lana asked.

“I assume not since he’s living in the bunkhouse with the rest of the hired hands.”

“How do you know that?”

Because curiosity had gotten the better of her. Despite Lana’s claims there were too many new hires, there actually weren’t. The Gradskys paid their employees very well, so employee turnover at the rodeo school or the ranch associated with the school was nearly nonexistent. When a new school session started there was an influx of students and parents, but the local staff only increased by two or three. And in the year she’d worked there, none of the hires had looked like him.

“Cal-lee,” Lana accused, stretching out her name. “You followed him.”

“I noticed him and another guy hauling some stuff from the parking lot into the bunkhouse.” She frowned. “He didn’t have much, now that I think about it.”

“Probably because he got kicked out of wherever he was living before. If he’s that good looking the guy’s probably a major player.” Her eyes took on a mean glint. “I hope if he cheated on his wife she took him for everything and he has to start over with nothing.”

Lana assumed the worst about everyone—men especially. Which made zero sense since she’d never had a boyfriend.

Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me.

Maybe not the death of me…but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me.

It’s more than physical. He’s breaking through an impenetrable wall.

There’s a problem though—he’s younger than me.

Six. Years. Younger.

Let’s not forget he’s also one of my brother’s best friends.

Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention…

I never wanted to fall in love again.

But you know what they say….never say never.

REVIEW:

This is the first book in this series that I’ve read, and it won’t be the last. This book gripped from start to finish

Waylynn has been deeply hurt by her lying, cheating ex-husband and she has vowed that she will not fall in love again. Jonathon is attracted to Waylynn and is determined to see where their relationship could lead them. One problem he has to get past the biggest stumbling block to his plan, Waylynn. She is attracted to him and although the chemistry is sizzling between them, she cannot get past the fact that he is 6 years younger than her and her brother Cord’s best friend.

Can Jonathon get through the wall that Waylynn has built around herself? Will Waylynn give Jonathon the chance to show her that by taking a leap of faith, she could finally have the life she has longed for so desperately? I loved this book and Waylynn’s interaction with members of her family. Her brothers made me laugh, and the sisters in laws. That’s why I have to go back and read their stories. I not saying anything else except I thoroughly enjoyed it, and my god Jonathon is made my kindle sizzle.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

gold-stargold-stargold-stargold-star

EXCERPT:

I didn’t hear a word that the interior designer was saying. I was focused on the way Jonathon looked in those Wranglers. And his boots. And the freaking black cowboy hat that made his grey eyes stand out. I swallowed hard.

Jesus…could this guy get any hotter?

Jonathon caught my stare from across the room. When he smiled my panties nearly disintegrated. The man had never even touched me, and yet one look from him and I was damn near panting.

Yes, he could get hotter. Christ Almighty.

Before I could stop myself, my tongue ran over my dry lips. Jonathon’s brows rose and his boyishly handsome smile turned into a sexy-as-hell grin. When his eyes smoldered, my breath hitched.

I wiped my brow. Shit, is it hot in here?

Jonathon knew where my dirty little mind had taken me, and I was pretty damn sure his was going in the same direction. I closed my eyes and tried not to picture anything sexy, but failed. Me…up against the wall with him buried deep inside me, giving me a long overdue orgasm.

“Waylynn? Waylynn?” Ann’s voice pulled me from my naughty thoughts.

Popping my eyes open, I cleared my throat. “What? Huh?”

With a sweet smile, Ann repeated the question I had totally tuned out.

“The color scheme. Are you good with it?”

I frowned. What in the heck was she talking about? Color scheme? “Umm.”

The young woman waited patiently, while I stood there with my mouth open like an idiot.

“Color scheme?” I asked with a slight smile.

Ann laughed. “Did you even hear a word I said?”

My eyes darted to Jonathon. He was leaning against a desk in the middle of the room. It was the only piece of furniture that had been left by the previous owners of this space. His arms were now crossed over his massive chest, and he wore a shit-eating grin. Did the man know how freaking handsome he was? That sex appeal dripped off of him?

He winked, and I had to lock my knees to keep from falling.

Bastard.

He knew exactly where my mind had gone, because his was there as well.

Turning back to the interior decorator, I replied, “I’m so sorry. Jonathon was distracting me.”

One quick glance back and Jonathon’s smile vanished, replaced by a shocked expression. “Me?” he asked.

I nodded. “Yes. You.”

Ann was now staring at Jonathon. I could see by the look in her eyes and the way she chewed her lip that she was having similar thoughts. It was obvious by the way she was trying not to look in his direction while she talked. She was probably the same age as he was, and that pissed me off. Then again, I had to remind myself that Jonathon hadn’t been staring at Ann. He’d been staring at me.

“What did I do?” Jonathon asked.

I wanted to say that his hotness was making my panties wet, and the throbbing between my legs was making it hard to think, but I decided it was best to avoid the truth.

“That desk you’re leaning on. I keep wondering why the previous owner left it?”

Jonathon looked down at the desk as Ann asked, “Do you want to keep the desk? It would be beautiful refinished.”

I shrugged. “I’m not sure.”

Jonathon walked around it. “I’m sure we could put this to good use. I can come up with an idea or two.”

His head lifted and his eyes caught mine. I swore they turned as dark as the night sky. I swallowed, trying to ignore the pulse between my legs.

ARC REVIEW: A RANCHER’S HEART ( Heart Falls Book One ) By New York Times bestselling author Vivian Arend.

 A RANCHER'S HEART BANNER

A new pic

Release Date: November 14, 2017
Series: Heart Falls #1

This cowboy has given up on love, but the new nanny might just make him change his mind. The first in a brand-new series from New York Times bestselling author Vivian Arend.
Caleb Stone is wearing too many hats and it’s making him crankier than usual. He’s a cowboy, a father, and the head of his large family—and has been since tragedy claimed his parents over ten years ago. The ranch is struggling, but it’s the title of single dad that’s got him tangled up in knots. He needs a full-time, live-in nanny at the Silver Stone homestead in Heart Falls, Alberta, to help with his two little girls, but the woman about to arrive on his doorstep? Tantalizing, tempting, and trouble with capital T’s.
Tamara Coleman doesn’t regret the choices that led to losing her job, but she definitely needs a fresh start. When a friend recommends her for a nanny position in a new town, she swears this time it’ll be different. No more acting on impulse—except sexy, gruff Caleb is exactly the kind of man who pushes all her buttons. And what’s more, it’s so much fun to push his in return. Sparks fly between Tamara and her gorgeous boss, but she can’t risk her position, and he doesn’t dare risk his heart.
With two people fighting their true natures, something’s going to give. Luckily, there’s more than one way to capture a rancher’s heart

EXCERPT:

Caleb’s expression might be unreadable, but his eyes—
He couldn’t hide the fire burning in his gut. Lust, not anger.
It appeared his little lesson had backfired.
Inspiration hit—a bad, wicked idea that was so wrong. So very wrong, but now that it was fully formed, stopping was damn near impossible.
She needed to turn away.
Need to grab on and take a bite.
God, she needed a bite of Caleb Stone.
Do it. Take a bite.
Fine, it was a bad idea, but she’d blame the stupidity on the heat in her veins, bubbling now with sexual frustration as well as anger.
Tamara lifted her chin and looked him in the eye as she adjusted position. Closer. Closer, until she could skim her fingertips over his impossibly hard chest. Circling and teasing the light dusting of curls and the tight surface of his nipples.
“I’m sorry, baby. You’re right. I misspoke. You are just fine without a woman. Your bed isn’t cold and lonely.” As she spoke she slid her hand down. Slowly, lower, until her thumb stroked the thick ridge she found waiting, pressed to the front of his jeans. “You don’t spend the night with your fist wrapped around your cock.”
Caleb swallowed hard. His pulse raced at the base of his throat.
“Tamara—” The word was a harsh growl.
But he didn’t move away.
“Or maybe you do. Taking care of yourself—I’m sure you take care of yourself no problem.” Tamara unsnapped the button on his jeans. He grabbed her wrist. “Not that I blame you. I do the same thing.”
The sound of his zipper being lowered meshed with a dangerous rumble deep in his chest. He let go of her hands, and then, oh my God, he was touching her. Skimming his palms up her waist, slowing as he passed her breasts.
She ached. She waited, no longer angry, but on fire with desire.
Caleb sucked for air, chest heaving as he fought—for control? For strength? He slid his fingers into her hair and tightened, lifting her face.
Then his lips crashed down and he was kissing her senseless.

REVIEW:

It was with great pleasure to receive an ARC of this book from the author, as I am a great fan of The Rocky Mountain House Series. This is a spin off with Tamara Coleman goes to Heart Falls to be Caleb Stone’s nanny. We met the Stone family in Jessie and Dare’s book.
Tamara has a heart of gold, but is very outspoken just what Caleb and his daughters Sasha and Emma need. This new series has a similar feel to it as Rocky Mountain House. Always family first, and we get to know the Stone brothers. Tamara makes friends easily so we meet some of the characters from Heart Falls.
This was the first in a series so we had background to family and the ranch. It was beautiful to watch Caleb learning to love again. Tamara was gone on Caleb from the first meeting, but fought the attraction because of confusing the little girls. Caleb benefited with Tamara unfettered truths and her outspokenness. This is a wonderful start to a new series, and I am looking forward to  Book two A Rancher’s Song.

FIVE-STARS

ARC Review, Rocky Mountain Home by Vivian Arend

Rocky Mountain home book cover

There’s no distance you can run to escape the past.

BLURB

Too stubborn to face his sins, Jesse Coleman bolted from the Six Pack Ranch, only to fall straight into the arms of a beautiful stranger. Twelve hours later, the seductive firebrand is nothing but a whiskey-laced memory—but one powerful enough to convince Jesse tracking down his elusive lover is worth the effort.
Darilyn Hayes figured it was her lucky night when the sexiest cowboy in Alberta interrupted her annual drink-until-I-fall-over wake. At least until four weeks later when she discovers she’s pregnant and her one-night-stand is nowhere to be found. Still, as she’s shared with her devoted blog readers, Dare has dealt with life’s not-so-gentle surprises before. She’ll make it on her own.
When an internet picture gone viral leads to their reunion, Jesse’s floored by Dare’s news. She’s very clear she’s not looking for a commitment, but screw that. He’s going to do the right thing by her and his unborn kid. The fact they lit the sheets on fire is a bonus, but with a baby on the way, both their lives are gonna change.
Jesse’s got a ton of family to reconnect with, including his estranged twin. Dare holds family loosely—even though she loves them—because she knows too well how fragile life can be. Between her and Jesse, they’ve got enough baggage to open a store.
But they still have a shot at forever—if they’re willing to fight for it.
This final novel in the series contains the following:
A sexy, dirty, cocky-as-hell prodigal son Coleman with massive bridges to rebuild. A woman able to see to the heart of the matter yet bold enough to speak the truth. A family of extraordinary resolve and endless love. A wedding or two. And babies—oh lordy, the babies…

REVIEW

It was with grateful thanks tinged with sadness that I started this book. I have followed this series from the beginning when Jaxi was determined to get Blake to see her as a women. So I feel like I know Jessie quite well, so it was a treat to follow his journey with Dare and their hea.
When Dare met Jessie for the first time it was an emotionally bad time for both of them. So a night of drunken hot sex was remembered by both parties for different reasons. Jessie was trying to find Dare because he kept thinking about her, and Dare was looking for Jessie for another reason. The first part of the book follows Jessie and Dares Journey towards each other.

Then we end up back in Rocky Mountain for the rest and it’s a family reunion for all parties including myself who had followed all the couples’ stories through the whole series.
If you have followed the series this is a treat to catch up with everyone, and to watch Jessie taking the final step to becoming a good man.

If you haven’t followed the series why not? You need to start at book one Rocky Mountain Heat. This is a five star treat for anyone.

I received an Arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
