BLURB:

He’s a hockey player, not a housekeeper.

Cameron Bowes is the face of the San Francisco Dragons, so when the team needs a gimmick to improve their fan relations, Cameron becomes the focus of the new video “At Home with a Dragon”. Unfortunately for Cam, his bachelor pad looks like an earthquake hit it. Repeatedly.

She’s the sexy maid a teammate hires as a joke.

Dakota Kelly has been working non-stop since she was unexpectedly awarded custody of her young niece. Though the little girl’s grandmother swooped in to help, the old woman’s overbearing ways have left Dakota no choice but to work as a janitor and moonlight as a maid in the hopes of one day getting some much-needed space from her niece’s highly controlling Nana.

Lucky for Cam, Dakota turns out to be the miracle worker he desperately needs, and he jumps at the chance to hire her as his live-in housekeeper. Soon, the two can no longer ignore their smoldering chemistry, and it seems turning their business relationship into a happily-ever-after for all three of them will be the next play. There’s just one problem: Nana doesn’t approve, and she’s not about to let her granddaughter go without a fight.

Clean Sweep may be read and enjoyed as a standalone sports romance!

REVIEW:

Clean Sweep a hot sexy romance featuring Cameron and Dakota who met in unconventional way. Cameron is a slob, and his house reflects that. Unfortunately his agent had book a real life TV program that films At Home with a Dragon.”
Cameron’s friends send him a maid to clean his house, Dakota arrives from Eye Candy Maids, but can’t believe the mess. Cam is shocked when maid arrives and strips down to her bra and knickers, with suspenders and high heels.
If you read the blurb, I am not going to repeat it. This is a lovely romance, and Cam was wonderful! I want him, but alas he only had eyes for Dakota.
Dakota was a great female character, who after her sister death had custody of her niece Zin Bin as Cam called her. I think she stole the show, I’m blabbing again. So I really enjoyed this book, it is not all sweetness and light, but I had a big smile on my face and can’t wait for another one.

Professional hockey player Sergei Petrov has had a rough time after the tragic loss of his wife. Playing hockey and taking care of his son are all he has time for, all he wants. Getting traded was not on the agenda. Neither was a sexy, hockey-playing nanny to further complicate things.

Star college athlete Danielle Cloutier may dominate the rink, but off the ice, she’s an amateur. She has been trying to get rid of her virginity for years, but guys are always intimated by her strength. That’s about to change when she meets her new boss.

Chemistry between them sizzles, hot enough to melt the most frozen of hearts, but Danielle can’t afford to get attached. Not when she’ll be leaving soon.

Sergei doesn’t know what to do with the sexy, stubborn woman, but watching her turn his new house a home makes him wonder if she’s exactly what he needs. Can he come to terms with his feelings before she skates out of his life for good?

REVIEW:

Defending Dani is the first in a spin off series from the Las Vegas Sidewinders. So we meet quite a few characters from previous books in the Series.
So the Dani in the title is Zakk’s little sister, so when Sergei gets traded to The Alaska Blizzards which is based in Anchorage. Sergei is a widower with a small son Nico, and Dani agrees to go to help Sergei and Nico set up home, and help look after Nico.
Dani plays hockey, and is training for the Olympics team. So Dani is a sportswoman in her own right. For the first time since his wife was killed Sergei feels like his at home, as they live play house Sergei has fallen hard, but won’t stand in Dani’s way.
I really enjoyed this couple Dani and Sergei were wonderful together, but what happens when you let the person you love go because you think you would hold them back? Get this book and find out, all those buff bodies playing hockey, Sorry  I’m still dreaming.
There is plenty going on in this book, it was like visiting family with all the friends and families there. I can’t wait for book two in this new series.
This is told by dual pov and can be read as a standalone, I can’t get enough of Kat’s Hockey Romances.

Kat’s a typical PTA mom with a wonderful and supportive husband (Kevin) and two amazing boys (Nick and Max). “What are you doing now that your team is out of the running for the Stanley Cup?”

Forget.

I need to forget. I need an escape.

Only one person isn’t falling for my reputation as the NHL’s Golden Boy; she captured my attention the minute she called me out for snooping through my best friend’s house. She didn’t want to hear my reason–she only wanted to playfully give me a hard time.

Adalyn is bold, sassy–and the perfect escape.

She’s everywhere. In town and in my dreams, and suddenly I need to spend every waking moment with her.

And I do, making this summer the best off-season I’ve ever had.

But in the midst of getting lost in Adalyn, what I don’t expect is to get her pregnant.

And what I definitely don’t expect is having to fight for her affection.

REVIEW:♥♥♥♥♥

ANOTHER WINNER from Meghan Quinn, 4.5 stars
I was halfway in love with Haydon  when was in Back in Game as Calder’s friend, and off course the first dating by numbers.
A nice touch to have his home town in Binghamton, so two series meet in the middle. Adalyn was a feisty nurse who we have met before, and who is good friends with Racer and Emma.
They were perfect for each other, but neither had been in love before so mistakes are made. A Glorious Romance with plenty of heart with a side dose of humour on the side. No spoilers, just a really good romance with Hayden being such a heartfelt sweetie that I want to take him to home to keep.
I was privileged to received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

REVIEW:

Wow Meghan has done it again, the queen of romantic comedy. This is the story Calder Weiss of who plays professional Hockey, whose most important role in life is a single finger to a five year daughter Shea. Then when dressed as Wanda the fairy wearing fairy wings he meets Rachel the woman of his dreams.
This is sweet funny story and I loved every minute of it. The story flowed well told by dwell pov’s and I was uplifted and smiling. As I always say it was fun and emotional with happily ever after. So if you want a quick fun loving book, I thoroughly recommend it. The only reason this is not 5 stars is because it was a novella. In my heart it has 5 stars.

REVIEW:

I always love Jami’s sports romances and this was no different. This was the story of Jared and Stephanie and a pair of physic matchmakers.
This was at times sad, for both Jared and Steph with all the baggage from their previous relationships that stood in the way. This was an uplifting story dealing with real down to earth problems.
Matchmakers extraordinaire tried to make sure true love broke through all the garbage life threw at them. I always love Jami’s sports romances, they can be read standalone, or we often meet up with previous characters.

They are told from alternate pov’s which makes it easier to see whats really going on. I have say I like the piece about Agnes and Giles at the end. A Romance to get your teeth into.

AN USE THIS ONE

REVIEW:

I don’t know why I’m surprised, because Kennedy Ryan’s writing always blows me away, after I’ve been pulled into the story so much, it feels like you there the story. You can’t get story out your head, I worked with victims, not victims, survivors for many years. Kendall still me shedding tears in so parts. Thank god the parts with August and Iris make me smile. I thought I was reading a sports romance, and it did involve sports. Baseball was a subject that brought Iris and August together.
The larger story arc opens your eyes, Kendall’s books often helps us to open our eyes to a wider issue, and has done so spectacularly that has made very difficult for me not give away spoilers.
I will say this book doesn’t leave your mind for days after and is clunking away in mine. This is not for the fainthearted, but is a special book to me. Five stars is not enough for writing this good.

REVIEW:

Playing his way is book 4 in the The Players Club Series and features Mac and Stephanie. Mac has purchased the club and decides he wants the special play suites refurbished and chooses her Interior Design Company for the job.
After Mac’s disastrous first marriage and the age difference he has avoided the chemistry between Stephanie and himself. Stephanie has had enough of Mac’s avoidance and decides refurbishing the 6 sex suites is her chance to show Mac, that she is who he needs. This is a story with delicious entertainment watching their battle of wills, and surprises they had in store for each other. I loved the names of the suites which I am not going to ruin. If you love a romance with plenty of heat then this for you.
So you have to read it yourself to find out. Even though this is part of a series this a standalone.

VLAD_TEASER2[132450].jpg IS LOVE ENOUGH

REVIEW:

Vladimir is slightly different from the normal type of Sports Romance we used to. When Vlad meets Rachel it was almost love at first sight. Everything appears to be moving so well until Vladimir does the unthinkable. This is told in dual pov using flashbacks of the relationship. Vladimir loved Rachel, but did not feel good enough because off his feeling of abandonment after being left by his mother as baby.
So Vladimir goes the Russia to found out why he was deserted as baby.
While Vladimir is finding himself, life has kicked Rachel in the teeth, and Vlad going was only the beginning. That’s all I am saying as you need to read this intense and complicated romance.
This book has complicated emotional content and you can’t help being pulled into the story. So get your tissues out you going to need them.

ARC REVIEW: FULL CONTACT,an all-new sexy, crossover standalone romance from KATHY COOPMANS and HJ BELLUS

Full Contact, an all-new sexy, crossover standalone romance from Kathy Coopmans and HJ Bellus

A mafia princess. The nation’s favorite football player. Can they make it work?

An unlikely matching of the stars.
The opposites had it all for one year.

Justice Bexley, the daughter of Cain and Calla leaders of The Diamond Syndicate, sacrificed true love to protect Liam. Her selfish action destroyed them both.
Liam Blake moved on with his prestigious career. However, his outlook on life was never the same. If his parents could fight for true love with a Pinky Promise he can keep moving forward. At least he tried convincing himself of that.

Some say true love has a way of finding its way back. Justice and Liam know better to believe. That’s up until the day they find themselves in a heated meeting.

She owns a new football team.
He’s coming back from an injury and thirsty to prove the nation wrong.
Years of pent up anger and hatred may fuel an epic second chance love story or ruin both of them for good.

REVIEW:

Full Contact is crossover from two different worlds each of the authors have created. To me this is a well written story about a couple who met when in college and fell in love. As young adults trying to figure their place in life, and Justice coming from a mafia family thinks leaving Liam who has bright future in NFL as a star player is the right thing to do. So there no taint from her Family’s association.

So in essence this is a second chance love story between Justice and Liam. There is so much bitterness but still love on Liam’s side, and Justice has always loved Liam in the intervening years. I haven’t read either series the families come from, but the richness in the characters of the parents and siblings makes me want to go back and read the other series. So the couple get back together, but the way is paved with problems from an outside agent. I loved Liam he was swoon worthy, and was so in love with Justice.
This is an enjoyable read which centered on the football team and the couples lives, and their families.

Single dad and star defenseman Matt LaRue lives for his kids and hockey. He’s had one failed marriage and doesn’t have any interest in going through that hell again. As conservative as they come, he can’t comprehend his unexplainable attraction to a free-spirited female who changes hair color more often than his boys create new excuses to avoid doing their homework.

Violet Strider is fleeing the past. She has a new start, new identity, and is hiding a big secret. Matt and Vi are a classic case of opposites attract, but neither expects the attraction to extend beyond a few hot trysts, especially Vi. Only her heart isn’t listening, and her head is following her heart down a path of no return. As Vi grows closer to Matt and his boys, she fears her secret could rip them apart.

Relationships are built on trust, and Vi’s house of cards is about to take a tumble. Can Vi confront her past and finally put it behind her, while earning Matt’s forgiveness?

REVIEW:

I do enjoy one of Jami Davenport’s Seattle Sports Romances, but I have to say this one was one of my favourites. Matt, Vi, and the boys was such a lovely treat.
At the beginning it was a meeting of the Odd Couple Vi the tattooed stripper, and Matt the straitlaced man who likes his life ordered and sane. The chemistry between them was unwelcome at first, but neither can resist other.
I loved Vi with the boys, and the healthy food she tries to feed them made me laugh.
This was a sweet sexy love story about two lost people who found each other and made their lives complete. I especially like imagining a lot sweaty sexy hunks playing Hockey. Matt was a great surprise to me, he always seemed boring on the surface, but he was a real surprise. If you enjoy a good sports romance then this the one for you.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an Honest review.
